Microsoft is competing not with a price cut, but by adding extra features (such as IPTV, vista orientated connection etc).

Wii SOLD more than 4 million. We arent talking about Shipped Here. Were talking about actual console sales in this thread. So dont even think about bringing in 360 sold 10.4 million when a big chunk of those 360s are sitting collecting dust in a crate.

I don't think sheep and lemmings ever looked at each other as competition. And certainly Peter Moore didn't look at them like that. The truth is most people have always said, "I'll get a 360/wii." or "PS3/wii." So I always expected it to sell more eventually. I am however surprised at the speed at which it's selling. I think it's definitely hit the mainstream quicker than anyone, even Nintendo expected. However I will say. . .a cheaper priced 360 and Halo 3 hitting shelves will knock 360 sales through the roof this holiday season.

When Nintendo actually make a next gen console and not a "New Console". Then we can compare the Wii sales to the 360. What you can compare is game attach rate, excluding any Gamecube games *Cough "Zelda" Cough*.
