Nintendo Wii: The system of ports, rehashes and a gimmick controller

Yeah that's games ported from a console from the same generation that the PS3 is in. Where as the Wii is porting games that are 1-2 years old from the last gen.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remake of an Xbox game, not only has it had an impressive graphical facelift but PS3 owners who have never owned an Xbox can enjoy this great game instead of investing on another console.

I agree, Wii is just a gimmick in general. People will realize how much it sucks and get a real next gen system eventually...Trading_Zoner

Yeah, in 5 or 6 years most people will move on from the Wii and get a new console. Maybe the Wii 2 :D!!!

Looking at future titles, it is clear that the Wii cannot compete with the 360 and PS3 in the long run. How many times can Nintendo milk their franchises? How can Nintendo keep low on the power front and expect the remote to make up for these defects? How can Nintendo expect to compete with Xbox Live when MP3 features no online at all? Speaking of the ports, most gamers owned a PS2 so many of those PS2 games being ported to the Wii look old and tired as they have already been played. Sure, we can speak of sales but a year from now, I believe those sales will dwindle. In a sense, graphics do matter for they greatly enhance the atmosphere of a game. I see Nintendo relying on the "gameplay only" way too much when gamers - especially those who have stuck with Nintendo - could have the best of both worlds. If the Wiimote is innovation, then I'm a fat man with a white beard who will arrive through your chimney on Christmas. I'm starting to think that the Wii makes the Gamecube look like the console of a lifetime. What Nintendo fans are getting is the same old thing over and over again: Rehashed franchises and lackluster online gaming.

That and a titanic load of Mario titles.

Ok correct me if im wrong but isnt Nintendo just getting into online. So how is it that Nintendo fans get the same lackluster online gaming when there just getting into it. W/E i disagree with all Wii haters.

Hopefully by the next console they'll have it down. Or perhaps the one after the next.

Until they all come with dedicated servers and voice chat standard, none of them have it down.

If I had a Wii during or before the E3 Nintendo press conference, I would have been ashamed of my console. The future looks grim for HC gamers.radiocreed
