They sure will. I'm particularly excited about what Retro's up to.

Sony'll have a mix of new and old IP's just like this gen.

And damn it Chaz, you know better than that. :P

charizard1605

Retro is either working on F-Zero UX for the Wii U launch, or Metroid Prime 4 HD. BELIEVE.

I hope Sony keeps their IPs, they have a good stable, and if they hope to one day compete with Nintendo in that department, they need to stop ditching their franchises.

And no, I really wish I did though :(

Metroid Prime 4? DO WANT. :D

But I wouldn't mind seeing a new Star Fox either.

The Mario and Zelda teams are far from consistent.

theuncharted34

Let's be fair, the Mario team (EAD Toky) is VERY consistent. I mean, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D Land? That's some consistency right there.

Is that the same team that made Sunshine as well though? And, it'd be pretty damn hard to mess up a sequel consisting of the exact same gameplay albeit with many new idea's and levels.

Either way, Nintendo's teams always do different projects, and I was referring to all the teams that work on the games, not just one team.

Yes they did. Sunshine sucked. Since then, they've been top form.

I mean, fine, make that argument for Galaxy 2 if you have to. What about 3D Land?

And I don't follow you with that last statement :P

Star Fox isn't happening, it's dead. Gone the way of the dodo. Maybe a decade from now, we'll see a Metroid Prime esque revival. And yes, a Metroid Prime 4 would be wonderful, particularly after how disappointing Prime 3 was.

Thanks for contributing.

It's still true. The Mario and Zelda teams are far from consistent.

I'm not really that knowledgeable about GG, but haven't they only been at their best once with KZ2?

Yes. But oh what an excellent game it is. :P

They've actually fired the MP designer that worked on KZ3, and I think they're working hard for their next game at doing what they do best, since KZ3 sold a lot less than 2. I can't wait to see their next game.

Is KZ3 worth a play for the singleplayer? I've been thinking about giving it a rent.

The Galaxy games were incredible, although yes, your point about Galaxy 2 was correct.

But oh, 3D Land is wonderful, it is beautiful. It is by far the greatest 3D Mario game ever released and possibly one of the greatest Mario games PERIOD ever released. This game has proven to me that Mario is indeed still something can get addicted to and love, and it has proven to me that EAD Tokyo wasn't a one trick pony.

Absolutely, the single player is fantastic. The gameplay is near perfection, just be warned that the story is cringe worthy and more in your face than KZ2's so to speak. It's around 6-7 hours long.

I wish I could forget about Prime 3 like you did too :( It's a shame Prime 3 is the only Metroid game on the Wii though. Why did Nintendo not release another one? You know? It would have been perfect. And yes, it is a shame. Assault was a flawed but great foundation, Nintendo should have refined it all from there.

charizard1605

Too late, I already started your Wiki page:

For charizard1605 and many of his fellow officers, who were inspired by Sony's brand of loyalism, a System warior career was a revolutionary vocation.

As a cadet, charizard1605 associated with the Handheld Movement. Most of his future colleagues on the Pretentious Users Subverting Hype (PUSH) were fellow members of his graduating year at the System wars academy. The frustration and shame felt by Sheep officers by Nintendo doomsayers massive defeat of the Sheep armies on SW threads in 2011 fuelled their determination to contribute to Sheep unity by overthrowing the Nintendo doomsayersmonarchy. An early conspirator, charizard1605 first started planning the overthrow of the monarchy while a cadet.

On 24 December 2011 a small group of junior military officers led by charizard1605 staged a bloodless coup d'état against Nintendo doomsayers. they abolished the monarchy and proclaimed the Sheep Republic.

On Febuary 22 2012, major political protests began in System wars against charizard1605's government. During the following week these protests gained significant momentum and size, despite stiff resistance from the charizard1605 government. By late February the System Wars appeared to be rapidly descending into chaos, and the Sheep government lost control of most of Eastern Sheep country. charizard1605 fought back, accusing the rebels of being "hacked" and linked to Cows. His military forces allegedly spammed rebelling Sheep, and relied heavily on the lemming brigade, led by one of his followers, and on sheep leaders loyal to him. He allegedly imported foreign mercenary cows to defend his government, reportedly paying Cow mercenaries as much as a free PSVITA for their services. Reports from Sheep country also confirmed involvement with Lemmings, and the presence of Manticore mercenaries.

charizard1605 was afterwards captured by a rebel Sheep who claimed he had taken refuge with several of his bodyguards in a thread in off-topic board. Later reports suggest he may have actually been deliberately forced inside, in a symbolic reference to his "threat to ban the Sheep who opposed him." Around noon Sheep found the group and took charizard1605 prisoner. Shortly afterward, he was Moderated. At least four threads were made which showed Sheep claiming they were the new King. A Moderator who identified himself as Verbtex later claimed to have perma-banned charizard1605.

The "liberation" of Cow country was celebrated on March 27, and System Wars announced that consultations were under way to form an interim government for sheep within one month, followed by elections for a constitutional assembly within eight months and parliamentary and presidential elections to be held within a year after that. At least 40 System wariors were banned in the civil war.

This is a thrilling story, and I want to know what happens next. Also, Napoleon was sent into 'permanent exile,' and yet he still returned and very nearly was successful, if it had not been for Waterloo. What makes you think charizard1605 won't return to reclaim the Sheep Monarchy?

Because even though I am left handed by default, I had severely dislocated and injured my left arm to such an extent that it was useless, so I had to be righty from then on. The left arm was a hindrance. It had to go.

Everytime I keep hearing Star Fox is dead, it just pisses me off even more. I refuse it to die! I STILL don't understand why online multiplayer wasn't added to the 3DS remake (screw the "costly" and "no time" excuses), I would of bought the 3DS right on the spot for 249.99 just for that :( !!!!!!!!!!!! *sob* I really hope they keep it alive and bring it to the Wii U (of course back to its roots SNES, N64)
