NIntendos best Firstparty franchie/IP? (Votes Counted)(Round1)

I voted other and I think I will have to say Legend of Zelda series. (I own/played almost every game in the series; I have all the console games and I only have 4 handheld Zelda's: Link's Awakening DX, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and Four Swords.)

Mario.

For a long time I would have said Zelda and even Metroid at some points, but Mario killed it on the NES and SNES and really took it back this gen as well.

I will say Pikmin because of my personal fondness of the franchise, but I must say it's rather spectacular that both Mario and Zelda continue to be creative and innovative at such a high level of quality after 25 years of existance.

Metroid for me.

Halo isn't as cool as Metroid; Metroid's a pretty bad-ass robot.

I also loved playing as Metroid's girlfriend in Brawl.

1990's Donkey Kong Country makes me forget every other Nintendo franchise. That's how amazing those games were.

There was one in Gamefaqs around the time Metroid Prime 3: Corruption released saying "Is Metroid's gun attached to his hand or is it a part of his suit?"

Metriod Prime...Best Nintendo game I played on the Gamecube. It and Zelda may be the reason I may purchase a WiiU.

Out of the choices, Metriod. But my favorite is Mario core series, especially the 3D ones. Mine goes:

Sadly 1st party is only reason anyone will be getting a WiiU

So hard to pick one but I will pick Zelda.

Zelda, unless it keeps going the way it has been.

Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon All three have managed to be consistently good throughout the years.

Hell as much sh*t fans give Skyward Sword it's still better than most other action/adventure games this gen.

A tie between Pokemon and Kirby.

Pokemon has been more consistent so that. ^^

Metroid (: Too bad only like 1 more proper metroid game will be made before we all die u.u

I like old DKC as much as the next guy, but gameplay wise they dont really hold up to other platformers of the time. And then against other Nintendo games of that era? Forget about it. They sure looked great though.

I could add more, but these are the major characters sooo yeah.

decided to pick Metroid since it's Round 1.

I would have pick The Legend of Zelda otherwise.

You could of made it easier on yourself by including Mario instead of Wario & Zelda instead of Pikmin on the Poll
