The name makes so much sense. Not only that, but the name "Wii" (while refraining from being sexist) will make gamers not just identify the console with women, but MAINLY with women. It is a feminizing name, and by removing it, they allow their name (and image) to appear more "mainstream".

not only that, but the name goes hand in hand with the Wii. Nintendo "Wee" and Nintendo "You", rather than tacking on the Wii branding and making consumers subconsciously think this is just another version of the Wii instead of an actual new console.

Super Wii, please.

How would you feel if your favourite video game franchise of all time hasn't been around for 8 years then the developers announced the exact day and hour that they'll actually show the next game? How am I supposed to wait this long knowing exactly when it will been shown. I don't think I've ever had this kind of anticipation before.

I can't wait!! I must admit though, I may not be able to watch it, because I'll be in traffic heading down to E3 this year, again. I can't wait to get my hands on the thing though! I'm going day one to the Wii U and I WILL play it!! I just... I can't wait... :cry: It's so close! I wish I could attend the press conference though... where again is it happening it? yoshi_64

Well there won't be any 20 min Zelda presentation or a detailed explanation of Pokedex 3D.

I don't think they will mention Wii at all, and the only DS related thing will be Pokemon B/W 2 (because it's a 3DS system seller).

I can see them focusing on "5 key 3DS games" and a 3rd party reel like last year which is maybe 10-15 mins. Rest is Wii U. They may squeeze in some Kirby anniversary stuff in between.

Fact is there is a ton more content, be it Wii, 3DS retail or eshop, but they won't talk about those games on the conference.

I'm also hoping for a surprise announcement of Pokemon red/blue on eshop, and they're available for purchase... NOW!!!

Time doesn't mean much anyway Sony's last conference was (or felt atleast) extra long and was still incredibly medicore, I hope Nintendo cuts all the crap and gets to the games, unlike MS and their long pointless demonstrations of features that have nothing to do with gaming.

Imagine if they where to make it a 2 hour conference in 2010, because they had much more content. Ehh OoT 3D, Starfox, Paper Mario? Not big enough for the conference!!!

It'll be hard to top 2010, it's their best E3 ever.

Nintendo always seems to have the most entertaining conference.

I just want to see games. I'm actually glad there press conferences are only an hour long. Any longer and it drags on.
