Nintendo's Right On Time, Sony and Microsoft Are Late

Console makers knew a long time ago that because of how fast the rate of technology advanced Consoles should have a 5 year shelf life max.So if Nintendo did release there next console in November of 2011 or early 2012, they are exactly 5 years from the original release date of the Wii, which i believe was November of 2006.The difference is they didn't go crazy with hi-tech hardware with the Wii and they still won out in sales, now there going to take that revenue and go all the way, and load up Project Cafe with super specs, a touch screen controller, better multiplayer and new online software.Nintendo will most likely put the new consoles specs just ahead of PS3 and 360's specs, just to give it a slight edge but, still affordable enough to mass produce with a nice profit and yet without eating through there wallets.Actually when you think about it Nintendo is the only company not trying to bleed your wallets dry with new incarnations of the old hardware, unlike Microsoft and Sony, c'mon think about it, how many different models of 360 and PS3 have there been since there release in 2005 and 2006 ?.Multiple size hard drives, different chipsets to prevent RROD, slimmer models, a bunch of late accessories, ala' Kinect and Move.Nintendo just put out the Wii, with a few control accessories, and later a black Wii and that was it, there not trying to take advantage and trying to use the same old hardware to death, there putting out a whole new console for Nintendo fans to enjoy.I for one am looking forward to it.

So really a "hardcore gamer" to you must be sub HD graphics to just barely industry standard HD? Because thats about all you are getting from SONY and MS. Nintendo knows exactly what they are doing as shown by the money they have made this gen so far. Hardcore gamer isnt about the graphics or power one's platform of choice has...ITS about your dedication, love and knowledge of the gaming world.
