umm why 479? so they don't compare with the PS3 $500 bluray player. This thing should be $400 and just have a $100 price drop on the other two SKU. Bad idea microsoft in terms of pricing

Will the premium go down? because its $100 more in canada :evil: which is A TOTAL ****ING RIP-OFF!!! The Canadian 360 is $499! Arrrg. Thats the only thing holding me back from a 360 :cry:

I'm curious about that too. I live in canada and it being 499$ is kind lame. If it were at least 299 i'd buy it....but i got a wii for xmas so i doubt my mom would buy me it so soon :P

so so true.

I don't mind that too much. I find lag sets in with my wifi connection. I have to whip out the wires anyway to have good lag-free gaming.

You know I stopped read when I saw this "We've confirmed with trusted sources" how can it be confirmed unless it's by Microsoft and how can trusted sources confirm something that only Microsoft can confirm.

yup you are right..did anyone bother to go the link tc provided??  120gb  hardrive is big ..Its a new and improved xbox360..how are lemming going  to take this..since its confirmed now...500 dollars that is close to the ps3 price tag..lol..and the ps3 is still better..
