Well, you DO see MP3 ads all over this site, and then theres the preview channel, and the nintendo website is very much hyping it. The only thing we haven't seen are TV spots.

There are now over 10 million Wii owners and growing......i dont see the problem with that. The Wii has not needed a "killer app" to move consoles...am i right?

If revolutionary is Wii Play and evolutionary is BioShock, I am going with evolutionary.

I am going into MP3 expecting the same thing as previous MP games, with a bit extra on the control side of things, which to me is not revolutionary, but evolutionary.

That could apply to the Wii as a whole, as its a new way of thinking about games. However, is MP3 revolutionary? Not really. Its the same MP formula with a new way of controlling it.

Just like the 64 was revolutionary with the standard joystick, but games using it were not revolutionary.

Metroid is the youngest of 3. (Mario,Zelda and Metroid). None of those other franchises have protagonist that speak (although they all make noises). Why should Samus do the same. They are all family!

Metroid Prime 3 was at E3, while SSBB wasn't, so that's a lie. Metroid Prime 3 also has a commercial on TV, a preview channel that everyone who owns a Wii probably saw, a website, and ads all over the internet.

I never bashed anything.

And its the same criticism leveled at any game after its first sequel. You will always get the people saying Halo 3 is the same as Halo 2, or that Zelda has never changed, or MGS4 is MGS3 with an older Snake.

I t will never change, and there is something slightly true about those criticisms, but that is the same reason that those series' have loyal and devoted fans.

Well, its the end to the Prime trilogy and one of the highest rated series of last gen. :? I think thats special enough.

Transformers got a launch center. I'm sure there are enough people on this website who are anticipating this game to warrant a launch center.

I hope Jeffy reviews this game. If so, count on him finding some amusingly lamereasons to slap a 9.0 or 8.5 on MP3. The track record on Metroid games is flawless. Maybe Gamespot will roll out a MP3 launch center in the next couple of days.joe_g_patton
