Tekken isnt as good a fighing game in terms of technical prowess as virtua fighter, it is no doubt fun but just pales in comparison with that aloneukillwegrill

Tekken is a great fighting game which has a unique flow to it. It's less forgiving then Soul Calibur in terms of timing your juggles and requires more on pulling off long strings of combos that flow into each other. I'll probably pick this up but Soul Calibur IV has priority - it's my favorite fighting series. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with a Namco fighter they are the defintion of polished.
SSBB rocks.Gimli524what does that have to do with anything? take that crap somewhere else. this is a tekken thread.
im looking forward to it. i do think the formula needs to be redone for it to make some buzz though. online is expected so if they just make a pretty version of 5 with new fighters (i here its every fighter from tekken) it may not be enough.
[QUOTE="stika"]No I didn't so stop trying to put words in my mouth. I said that bouncing boobs was why he bought the game. You look really silly and desperate trying to twist my words.you pretty much said that bouncing breasts are the only reason to own DOA
l-_-l
right i´m sure you called him a pervert with the best of intentions
PS. i´m sure your insults weren´t desperate nor pathetic either ;)
I will laugh when it scores higher than brawl...NavigatorsGhost
According to past reviews it most definitely if not probably will. Tho I'm still doubtfull of a huge score, after seeing what happened to Virtua fighter 5... but then again, gamespot seems to love the series. So unless we were to expect a Tekken4, I guess there is not much to worry about in the first place.
[QUOTE="stika"][QUOTE="Blue-Rose"]DOA is the dung at the bottom of the cesspool of 3D fighters...everybody knows this.Blue-Rose
really? and you say this based on..... ?
Acclaim, reviews, sales...anything Tekken rises head and shoulders above DOA. Its not even funy.so because DOA is not better than tekken (which i agree) that makes DOA: a "dung at the bottom of the cesspool of 3D fighters"?

the difference doesnt seem that obvious as far as i´m concerned
I mean seriously. Tekken 6?? Six! I think I know what its going to be like somehow. Tekken 3 was the last one that felt really different. Anyone over the age of 22 and previously into fighters is not going to have much interest in this kind of rehashing.
I WANT SOMETHING NEW!!!

It has every character (dunno about Dr. B or Gon) from the Tekken series. I'm looking forward to it.
I've made plenty of Tekken hype threads thank you very much.
And i'm anxious for it to come out, we already have DOA and VF; now all we need is Tekken 6, Soul Calibur IV and Smash Bros; then i'll have my 3D fighting fix. :D

Well I'm 23, love my fighters and will be picking up this game.
Curious as to what makes this a 'rehash' though, everyone seems to be throwing about that word without any reason why.

I'm not trying to be flippant in turning this question on its head. Sincerly, what is going to be different other than 'improved' graphics and more characters? Talk to me about the innovation.
