I agree there locopatho. I guess I am one of those who criticize the Wii because I wanted it to be the only needed console. So my sniping at some of Nintendo's business decisions is because I want systems to carry over their good traits into the next system. This is why I like Xbox 360. i wont pretend its all perfect because it isn't. (hardware issues for one) But I think Xbox 360 has enough good sound things that Microsoft can proudly carry over into the next decade. Good online community, good developer support, good sales, good visuals (eh heh), etc. In my mind, Xbox 360 seems to be the more conservative but no less efficient and impressive console. Although people like to paint the PS3 and Xbox 360 as two big dumb lumbering machines with all power and no grace, I would say the opposite. The Xbox 360 is doing well because it's not trying to be radical and groundbreaking every single step. The games sales and scores and built-up community seems to have been attained through a long and patient road.
Nintendo on the other hand just seems to constantly disappoint me and make me feel like I'm getting a second-rate experience. You mentioned the weak 3rd-party support and some of the disappointing production quality of some games and that's what I dont want Nintendo to repeat on the next Nintendo system. I can tell you are quite satisfied because you have both systems. My criticism might be a little different because I am not just arguing about whether System A or B is a better buy, but I am looking at the system's entire future prospects. I see more good things on Xbox 360 now than I do on the Wii that I think will create an even better system next gen. (hardware, multimedia features, game library, etc) If i am biased, I would be happy to discuss and debate this, but preferably not to multiple accounts like some mysterious stranger on the previous page.

Ah yeah every console has it's troubles and being a Nintendo fan can be trying sometimes... But hey I like you more when your willing to discuss and back up what you say :)
