Its universal now, Suda51 doesn't need good ratings AT ALL for his games to be considered godly. Though how Killer7 got a good score here on GS still confuses me. I could have sworn they gave it a lower score...

It is definitely the approach though I think. Manhunt 2 focuses on execution moves that are technically the selling point of the game. Though Suda has this strange approach to violence that its really not as violent as it is just a giant fiesta of red ribbons and balloons. I'm sure that plays a huge factor in the rating. Though I think we can all agree that Suda will do a damn good job with the violence :).

Rated Mature 17+, for Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, Intense Violence, Sexual Themes, Strong Language.

I am loving the creative charater naming and designs. I am so pumped for this.

Remember this isnt a GTA like game per se. The game does have an open sandbox world buts its basic and is only meant to bring you to your objectives and levels. Its just an intuitive menu for selecting assasinations. Its different but it sure is awsome. I hope this game sells millions if it really is this much quality in it.Cyber-

I just watched the intro for the game and it can only be described in terms of 'Kick ass!'... *ahem*... my only worry is the gameplay becoming rather sterile and the identikit enemies, oh and I object to the misogyny too.Caviglia

Also, the only thing in this game I don't like so far is the physics every time travis makes a sharp turn with that bike of his.

No, not because some ofthe enemies are women, it is good they are in a position of power and strength, although it could be argued they must act likemore machismo to be in these positions.I'm thinking more along the lines of visual exploitation.

If being fun and memorable means ahving to put the main character on a Mountain Dew then you can keep it. The game is good but we are just getting info on it right now.

If anything the game will score good at all the reliable sites and then Gamespot will give half a page review on it giving it a 7.5. I am not hyping this game because we dont know that much what we do know i said in this post. all you did was underestimate a game that only shows promise at the moment and you used the knowledge that GS will most definitely underrate yet another good game.

nonononono! People, this is not suppose to be a critically acclaimed game! That is not what we want! We want Killer7 status and any hype will just ruin this game major.

'cause the second we get this game hyped, we automatically lose a lot of people trying out the game. How you may ask? Very simple... "This game flopped bololololololololol". Hyping this game anymore more then past Killer7 destroys it.

I really like what this game is trying to do. It mixes sandbox gameplaywith hack-n-slash gameplay. It has an interesting art style (although It's a style that will either be loved or hated by different people). It's one of the few announced games that has you use a lightsaber-like weapon which should be great for the Wiimote. And a lot of things are so over the top that it's ridiculous, such as the names of the characters, the amount of blood, the characters' languages (swearing and their attitudes), which is all done in a way that's a kind of spoof of similar kinds of games and stories.

That being said, I'm kind of worried that they might end up messing it up somehow. I don't know why, but I get the feeling that this game might not be as great as it should be. I hope that I'm wrong...
