No more "Just On XBox"?

I still do not get it. Before that MS decision PS4 owners would have been forced to buy an Xbone to play certain games. Now it is sufficient for them to get a Windows PC which they may already have anyway. How is that an advantage for the Xbone?

Halo is certainly the most overrated game franchises ever. I am not so much into shooters anyway, but this series is even more pointless than others for me.

They should rename the console to MultiplatOne

cuz millions of games don't own a gaming computer or even a PC in their house those people still need a bone or spend even more on a PC

many people just buy a ps4 or a xb1 and if u go for ps4 you miss out pretty much gen ever imo

ps4 already has no games and xb1 has exclusives like halo 5 if ur not playing halo 5 this gen or MCC ur pretty much a useless person playing the order or whatever craps on ps4 maybe indie or something

The more it can do, the more it can appeal to a larger audience. Little Joey with his PC can play Fable Legends with Tommy on The ONE. One game bought and shared. How could one scenario out of many take away value. When people shop and look into what they are buying, the Xbox ONE's list of ingredients will outweigh the competition several times over.

Wow, and i was this close *pinches fingers together* to buying a xboxone. But after reading this now knowing all first party games will be coming to PC im glad i didn't.

Be prepared for GFWL: The Sequel. I'd still get it on Xbox One. I'm a console gamer though so that just makes sense. As long as I get my games on Xbox One I'm happy. I don't play PC games and, in reality, most that own an Xbox One I would suspect don't either.

Probably nothing. Chances are it's a front trying to "demote" Xbox One. Is it that surprising though? They always hold out hope of console ports. Who knows which ones end up there...if it's even successful and goes through.

Out of your list, scalebound has my interest, again this is "my" opinion on games "I" find fun and worth spending "my money on".

only game i like on that list is bloodbourne PERIOD.

It's true. Apparently they are looking to put some games on PC through this whole thing. But they have yet to announce what. I don't know how their comment translates to "every single Xbox One exclusive". It's simply making unnecessary assumptions. So because The Forest, Sniper Elite Nazi Zombies, Orcs Must Die, and Killing Floor 2 are all coming out on PS4, does that mean all PC "exclusives" are now coming out on Consoles? No. You go by what is announced. It's that simple. But the original post is correct, some are. Which ones or if any more than Fable Legends who knows.

@Puckhog04: MS is pushing Windows 10....which is more important to their portfolio than the Xbox brand. Do the math....

the only thing announces is Fable Legends for windows 10

they are probably going to put Rise of Tomb Raider on windows 10 and stuff like Dead Rising 3 and just use windows 10 as a tool to put their games on PC

they didn't say are going to bring all of the exclusives on it, its probably mainly for the timed exclusives that microsoft publishes, the main exclusives still won't go to windows 10 so they keep xb1 unique for those games and the timed games just go on windows 10 after a certain amount of time instead of steam/GOG or whatever so PC gamers have access to the game but only one from place windows digital store

its just a win win win for microsoft they take over pc again and xb1 still has exclusive library while the ps4 has no way to get the exclusives or the timed titles of xb1 ever and they lose marketshare to windows10/xb1 and have to make deals for game to still come to them

Honestly though, for anyone who owns a solid pc. The prospect of buying an Xbox one for its exclusives in light of trend this of its games going to pc, might be a bit off-putting for many.

the timed exclusives that go to PC are just perks the real exclusives make the system matter though, go look at ps4 exclusives they are nothing to brag over the lineup is as weak as xb1's and thats all microsoft has to do is keep themselves even with sonys exclusives while ramping up windows 10 shop at the same time with a few titles here an there

No-one knows what games will or won't go to PC in the future. All they can do is base it off of what already has. I'm sure that's already enough to add doubt to a 400+ dollar Investment.

Uh if you're trying to sell a console but don't have many exclusives....you're not going to move many consoles. Dilute your brand and it bites you in the ass.

People buy Consoles for more than just exclusives.

uncharted = graphical movie with quick time events and terrible multiplayer if any

Microsoft followed this "complete package" approach from the very first presentation of the Xbox ONE, but it did not seem to appeal to the majority of the customers ... at least not to the customers outside of the USA.

If PC gamers were the target audience for Console manufacturers I would. But they aren't...Consoles sell amazingly off of Console gamers alone.

XB1 still has more exclusives right now and in the future than PS4 , and better Racing games, as a PC gamer the ps4 is still a worse choice for anyone it literally brings nothing to a PC gamer compared to xb1

i dont want to buy a single ps4 exclusive game so the ps4 is useless in my home the xb1 has MCC/sunset/forza and halo 5 incoming i need to experience halo 5 i need to im sorry, i need to see what happens to cortana and do my multiplayer sessions all night

ps4 plays nothing i want like literally nothing it runs my pc games at 30 FPS and 2x lower resolution and the loading times and stuff is real bad ps4 = a really low end tech pc

As if it won't be the same case with PS exclusives. Of course it may take Sony a lot more time to realize (they are dumber after all), probably by next-gen, when they're already at the edge of bankruptcy.

so if xbone sales pick up a lot and they shore up a really good exclusive well maybe they ship out a gears to PC or something

its not like they are just gonna instantly put all their games on PC it won't work like that at all PC will get funneled a few games but not the main core ones unless they are just killing the ps4 in marketshare

MS has no room to push away potential buyers. What do they have left? The american market with console only gamers and Sony is leading there too. They dont have europe, asia or the rest of the world. Now they dont have PC gamers looking for buying a console for the exclusives anymore either.

Edit: Not to forget that the xbone will get an even stronger stigmata for having very little true exclusives, while Sony has more true exclusives and console exclusvies.

I don't think it will make much difference, people who prefer consoles will continue to buy consoles. I doubt many buy Xbox just for its exclusives, a lot of people just prefer playing on consoles. Pushing both platforms makes sense.

It's over for Xbox confirmed but I don't give two fucks as I'd celebrate
