No online for Prime 3? Oh dear oh DEAR, sheep!

It was meant to be the killer title...the Halo beater...the one that would finally usher the Wii into the true generation of consoles...

...and it does not have online. A FPS with no online these days? What? Is the Wii moiving backwards or something? Whereas the PS3 has superior online gaming with an unrivaled experienced, the Wii has an arcadey football game and a 5.5 Pokemon fest. Even the 360 has managed to scrape something half playable together, so what is the Wiis excuse?

MP3 is an adventure game. It's acceptable for adventure games not to have any online features.

But I still wish that MP3 had online... MPH's online was great.

All this talk about 'what it was meant to be'...well if you want to do that then how about considering that Metroid Prime was never meant to be a top class online shooter? It was meant to provide an amazing single player experience. A shooter with the unique Metroid experience a'la Prime. I don't think that any Wii owner out there got excited over this game because they expected an online multiplayer.

It's funny because when they put a multiplayer in Prime 2 everyone laughed at it and said they shouldn't have bothered.

Metroid Prime isn't suited for multiplayer.I would rather have them polish up the single player compaign rather than add a tacked-on online mode for no reason,which they are,and which I'm happy about.

I expect Metroid Prime 3 to deliver an excellent single player experience,and I'm pretty sure many of us Metroid fans would rather have the single player be fined tuned to near perfection rather than a half-hearted online mode.

to me metroid is about the single player experience .. it's not trying to be like other FPSs

You do realize that Metroid Prime and Prime 2 were both critically acclaimed games,and that Prime 3 is likely to follow the trend,right?

If the single player holds up (which it probably will), it will be fine

online is one of the most important aspects of the game, and the single player alread looks horrible

They do - they just dont put as much emphasis on them as Microsoft or Sony do.

Most sheep just want online to be like going into a game, playing against random people with friends or without, and mic chat.

Graphics have to be good, the games need to have an artistic style and need to be unique, which most Wii games havent been
