With the Playstation 3 I can just slide in my game disc and play the game. I dont have to rebuy games that I already own.

As for the arguement over the exclusivity of VS games think about it.If Metroid appears on the Wii VC(a console owned by the same company) , does it the NES version not exclusive?No

Yes but since they are on other consoles they too can be listed as games coming out for them and I don't want sit around all night compiling and comparinga list for the Wii, 360,and PS3on games coming out for them. Really exclusive are much easier to track and compare system to system then listing every single game coming out for them.

I give your list-making abilities a 1/10. You placed some games in the list up to 3 times across the two consoles. You put in an absolutely massive amount of crap that only a moron would want to play, like Dancing with the Stars and Buzz Junior. You included tons of non-exclusives, which, though you will be able to play them, mean jack all in a lineup. You put in Monster Kingdom and Folklore, which are the same game, and also Oblivion GOTY edition, which is not even a remake, just a new packet. Then there's the games which haven't been spoken of in years and are all but certainly cancelled. And you didn't even try to distinguish between 2007 and 2008, other than leaving out obvious 08 releases like MGS4.

I have no problem with other people including multiplat games at all becauseif it'splayable on that system it should be included.

If you just track the exclusives you will miss out on alot of great games. I'm not saying exclusives are not important at all which they do make an impact for some people.

You won't even have to compare system to system because you willfind outwhich system*if youown others ofcourse* would be better to buy the game for. From game sites/magazines, word of mouth w/e andif youdont want to listen to other peoples opinion you can always rent the game for each system and choose for yourself.

sure exclusive games can be great. Assassin's Creed is probably my #1 hyped game right now. But the point of lineup lists is to show that your console has a better lineup than the others. And multiplats do nothing for that.

I give your list-making abilities a 1/10. You placed some games in the list up to 3 times across the two consoles. You put in an absolutely massive amount of crap that only a moron would want to play, like Dancing with the Stars and Buzz Junior. You included tons of non-exclusives, which, though you will be able to play them, mean jack all in a lineup. You put in Monster Kingdom and Folklore, which are the same game, and also Oblivion GOTY edition, which is not even a remake, just a new packet. Then there's the games which haven't been spoken of in years and are all but certainly cancelled. And you didn't even try to distinguish between 2007 and 2008, other than leaving out obvious 08 releases like MGS4.

I love my PS2 and my PS3 but fanboys like you make me feel like I shouldn't.

When comparing current gen systems, you can only compare the current gen releases, other wise, count ALL the releases, in which case the Wii VC would beat everything

With the Playstation 3 I can just slide in my game disc and play the game. I dont have to rebuy games that I already own.

YOU might not but that doesn't negate the fact that millions of otherscan see that the 360 completely destroys the PS3's lineup this Christmas.

The TC needs to quit already. He doesn't know when he lost. Save some money, buy all the systems, and then you won't have to worry about which system has a better line up.

For all those claiming Mass effect is a GOTY candidate, how do you know? Because of Kotor? For all you know Mass Effect could suck. Wait until you play the game until you make such bold statements. As of this moment, Bioshock has the best chance. The year is not done yet so GOTY is still up for grabs. Who knows, some of the other games coming out could surprise us all.
