Silly console gamers thinking they have hardcore games.
Come back when you get Quake, Counter Strike, and Starcraft and learn to use the almighty KB/M.

I don't care about sales because I'm not a fanboy nor am I a stock holder. But it is a fact that if you want your game to make you money you bring it to consoles, sorry but it's the truth. Consoles are superior in the market place and PC gaming doesn't have as much of a community as the PS3 and 360 do. Not saying PC gaming is dying or anything, because it isn't, but consoles are the lead.

How about if you look only to PC/MAC boxed,PC/MAC dowload and MMO´s,wich all together make 30% on a single platform(so not even counting casual oriented slices),against the 43% of consoles, wich include everything,PS3,360,Wii,PSP and DS together, along with all the casual stuff those systems have(kinect, move,Wii),and tell me it´s not impressive.
It´s not even counting facebook and the casual stuff like you´re trying to convey.

I think your looking at the graph incorrectly.[QUOTE="jedikevin2"]
I think your looking at the graph incorrectly.

Based on the bar chart at the side... Luckily, the rest of the world did not cease to exist.
The left bar chart soley talks about how many people play something within each genre. The numbers also mesh together. AKA, a person can count for social gaming and for say console gaming as it states "Gamers per platform: absolutes and share % of the online popluation aged 10 years and up"... Simply put, that graph just depicts alot of people play different platforms but not specific amount against each other platform. To the statement made that facebook is the new age of PC.. sounds a bit offbase when you look at the dollar amounts and averages to the right. It doesn't really make sense. Its why I think dontshack is looking at the graph correctly.

As for single platform vs single platform, the PC platformis doing quite well.
You can't lump PS3 and Xbox 360 together since thier development environment is not the same. Only Xbox 360 and PC platform shares similar development environment i.e. DirectX.
