Nobody wants the PS3

Look Sony fanboys, you can stop screamingabout the PS3 price drop that EVERYONE already knew was going to happen. Almost everyone here in SW that doesn't already have a PS3 isn't going to buy one simply because Sony shaved $100 of the price. Fact is, its STILL too expensive, and there STILL are no games worth purchasing the console to play them.

Just because Sony is getting desperate doesn't mean that we are.

$400 is NOT to expensive in fact it's just right, and what it SHOULD have cost at launch. The problem is LACK of good games. I say this only because I already own a 360 so all the multiplats don't count. Ratchet and Clank and MGS4 are the only games the PS3 offers I want to play. Will I pay 400 for them? Not sure and me saying not sure is bad for Sony since it should be a HELL YES! If I didn't already have a next gen console or coudln't play Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill 5, Guitar Hero III, Devil May Cry 4, Virtua Fighter 5, Soul Calibur 4 or Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on 360 Sony would have a sale here. The argument is no longer about the cost since the PS3 is DEFINITELY in the fight now. It's all about the games from here on out.

The 360 got me broke so too late for Sony... I will wait for another price drop :P

I wouldn't buy a PS3 for 200 bucks. And if someone gave me one, i'd sell it on ebay. I don't needa paperweight taking up space in my entertainment center.

When will you cows realize that Sony can drop the price, bring back rumble, and vacuum my living room floor for me...I'm still not going to buy it because IT HAS NO GAMES.

Actually I already own a PS3 (take note i live on my own) and my 17 year old brother is getting a PS3 for christmas BECAUSE of the price drop (He lives with my dad). My dad wouldnt get him one cuz of the price... but WAIT A SECOND!!!!

So the 5 million people OUTSIDE OF SYSTEM WARS :lol: who have a PS3, never actually wanted one? Yeah. Good luck with your future in the real world. You should be grateful for the price drop anyway, because it seems as if Microsoft aren't paying you enough.

I will and I did. If you weren't a fanboy and you were as rich as you implied you are then you would have all three consoles. And don't give me the AAAE BS. Scores =/= peoples own opinions about games. *sigh* I'm gonna go play warhawk, a lackluster game on my inferior console, or maybe ill play bioshock, or finally beat Twilight Princess (got it back in Feb. and still havn't found the time to beat it :lol:). You are misguided. The sales of a commodity are based on their perceived value vs. actual value. Factors that affect perceived value for a console include the desire for games, additional features, etc.

Since I already own an Xbox 360, my perceived value of the PS3 is extremely low. There are a handful of PS3 exclusives that are of the quality that I would rent. There are even fewer PS3 games that I would consider owning. Therefore, purchasing a PS3 for $400 is a waste of $400. If you want to call it fanboyism, so be it. That's $400 that I can use for other things, like putting gas in my $70,000 offshore fishing boat.

lol sw is about 1% of the gaming world. you really thing some one that wants a ps 3 will see 399 price tag is going to change there minds because it happen 1o mouths in its life cycle then you don't now this world. are you saying if a honda civic for example in 11 mouths sence the new year came out the person looking to buy it and see 3000 dollars off the current price is going to not buy it. your logic fail because your a fanboy hoping sony to fail. nobody wants one then how come it is ahead of the most wanted eletronics in the us one below the wii then had a 200 price drop to that you telling me people are going to turn there heads lol. First, use some **** grammar, your posts are horribly painful to read.

Second, its not even the price that will likely prevent people from buying a PS3, its a game console that currently has a lack of games and thats what will prevent consumers from buying one. I never cared about the price of the PS3, I just couldn't justify buying one without any games I like.
