Delays are generally a good thing though. Instead of playing a good game right now, I'd rather play a great game two months later.

Seemed like it might after it being a no show at E3 (as far as I can remember), seems like a good thing anyway, what with the volume of games coming out in those months, if you're not something absolutely huge you'll get ignored. bobbetybob

it was at E3, not just in the press conference. because Sony already showed Twisted metal last E3 2010. i mean, who pulls a Gears 3 on E3 by showing the same game for two years straight? Sony had more to show off during E3, and frankly they showed a ton of games for Vita and E3 was the only chance for the games to get coverage from the media.

hate to nitpick but Twisted Metal isn't a racing game. There's no circuit lapping or pole position. It's really a vehicular combat game.

Damn, I was really looking forward to a first day purchase. Hopefully this delay will be worth it.

While this is bad for collections, at least it'll be one less game for me to go easy on my wallet, Batman and Battlefield will make up for it.

Plus it could use more polish.

I'm actually happy. There were too many games coming out this fall. I would have had to make a sacrifice and Twisted Metal would have been it.

It says they will be late, past Oct 4. So most likely November.

What a disaster. Twisted Metal isn't coming out by Halloween this year. It won't be there for Thanksgiving weekend. It won't be wrapped under any Christmas trees waiting to be opened and enjoyed. Nobody will be able to ring in the New Year with Sweetooth and company. Jaffe is killing holidays.

LOL UC3 is an action-adventure game, why do people always say it's a shooter? because you shoot people?

i guess Mario is a shooter too, becasue you shoot Goombas with fireballs? or Ratchet and Clank is a shooter, because you shoot enemies too?

Gears IS a shooter. why? becasue you dont do anything in Gears, or Halo. you just go to an area, shoot everything that moves, and then go to another area, rinse and repeat. they just put you in a cannon, or in some type of turret, but at the end of the day you just shoot your way through the game and don't do anything else. no platforming, no puzzles, heck no collecting some form of collectible or exploring secret areas for items. you just shoot. that IS a shooter. just because a game has a gun does not make it a shooter. oh wait, since UC has puzzles, then i can call it a puzzle game as well?

Action Adventure usually can't be a stand alone genre. UC3 Is a mixed AA and TPS.
