Gears IS a shooter. why? becasue you dont do anything in Gears, or Halo. you just go to an area, shoot everything that moves, and then go to another area, rinse and repeat. they just put you in a cannon, or in some type of turret, but at the end of the day you just shoot your way through the game and don't do anything else. no platforming, no puzzles, heck no collecting some form of collectible or exploring secret areas for items. you just shoot. that IS a shooter. just because a game has a gun does not make it a shooter. oh wait, since UC has puzzles, then i can call it a puzzle game as well?

Seems like it is to me--only reason it's levied as a Action Advention is because of the platforming and puzzles in the Uncharted games, both in which take a backseat to the main action of the game--TPS action. But hey, you're welcome to believe whatever your heart desires. It doesn't change a thing in the end. It is the same ordeal mostly, just like Gears of War 3 is a lot different from Resistance 3 yet they're still founded in the same core concept; just like Uncharted. Still the same soup, with a just a few different ingredients. Just like DiRT 3 is a lot different from Forza Motorsport 4, and Need for Speed HP, yet they're all still racing games. I'm glad you agree that Uncharted is also a TPS; again,I'm glad we can agree that Uncharted 3 is also a Third-Person-Shooter. hehe :]

Good there is so many good games to get anyways this holiday season. It was probably delayed to fix some of the bugs people were talking about. I'd much rather have a smooth running game later on than a glitchy one early.

its alright, ps3 will have another great year next year. last guardian(crossing Fingers),twisted Metal,starhawk, sly cooper 4,the agent. not bad.

Nothing EVER releases on time anymore.. Nothing makes it to the holiday season.. It has gotten to the point where Q1 and Q2 has more good stuff than Q3 and Q4 which just doesn't make any sense.

I am sick of getting COD for christmas because it is the only noteworthy thing that even releases during the holidays anymore.. WTF

Looking more forward to Carmageddon anyway.

**** Twisted Metal was the only game I've really been hyped for this year. :x

The game honestly doesnt impress me. Im sure ill play it and give it a try but i have a feeling i am not going to like the game.
