Not 1 PS3 game out better than Gears.

Cows i've been thinking about it,and it just came to mind that there isnt 1 PS3 game out thats better than gears or can even compete with gears.And dont give me that "Just Wait" crap and "But teh PS3 has only been out for a year and 360 has been out for 2",gears came out the FIRST year of the 360 and PS3 just hit its firstyear and still doesnt have anything to compete with gears of war.And please dont bring up RFOM,i mean the game is ok but cant its not on the same level as gears.

If we cant get anything out of the PS3 better than gears....or hell better than COD4(Yeah thats right,RFOM isnt even better than COD4).

Thats all a matter of opinon. I think UT 3 is going to be the awesome Multiplayer Experience PS3 owners are looking for, jsut like GEars was. I think Uncharted looks better than Gears Graphically. And I think R&C is just as much fun to play as GEars. YOu have your opinon and others have theirs. jsut becasue its your opinon, that dosent make it correct.

Don't get your hopes up, UT3 isn't all that great for PC. Although we do have much better shooters so maybe my standards are just higher...

yeah but ut3 isn't the same style as gears with gameplay u ever play? i like it and can't wait for the ps3 verison...but it won't compete with gears gameplay, ones stop and pop and the other is run and gun....ut 3 is fun and u can only compare graphically....but then again ut3 is coming on the 360 in q2-3 of 2008 for the 360...

First of all, Gears is a brainless shooter. So if you want to compare it to other shooters, then Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, and Resistance are all better than Gears. And UT3 and Haze will be better than Gears also.Baurus_1

Singleplayer games are still replayable for the gameplay experience, unlockables, and etc. I had more fun with games like SotC, Jak II, and a lot more than games with multiplayer. As for Uncharted, yes it's short, but I like going back and doing some of the missions again just for the heck of it and same with unlocking medals and skins.

Also, singleplayer games have been around forever and people still play them.
