Starcraft II Trilogy

Black Mesa

Zeno Clash

Diablo 3

Demigod

The Path

Parabellum

The Old Republic

Entropia Universe

NecroVisioN

And that's in ADDITION to the PC hosting the native versions of the following games:

Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams

[no screenshot available]

Alan Wake

Doom 4

[no screenshot available]

Rage

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

[no screenshot available]

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

ArmA II

Dragon Age: Origins

Singularity

Valve Unannounced 2009 Project(s)

[no screenshot available]

Deus Ex 3

[no screenshot available]

Mafia 2

Will I be buying a Playstation 3 in 2009? I doubt it.

my PC has great specs but a terrible video card. you can get a decent card for less than you can get a Wii. PC Gaming is NOT as expensive as they say.

You forget why console gaming is so popular - You buy the game put it into the console and your done.

Even though I am a PC (semi decent laptop) and console gamer its a bit ridiculous that not all PC games come with a program to detect your settings and give you the best performance straight away.

I read to StarCraft II and that was in. Your point was already proven beyond a reasonable doubt. No one can argue with your logic.

StarCraft II owns all.... and it's about to go into beta :D

That's IF you build it yourself. If you buy it from Dell pre-built you can expect it to be upwards of 7000 dollars.

ITT: Console ignorance.

Here's the facts: If you know how to shop for your PC and you buy a lot of games then the consoles are actually more expensive.

starcraft 2 and diablo 3 are the only exclusives you listed that look interesting, pc gaming is way too expensive these days when you can just buy a 360 or ps3 and play pretty much the same games with little difference in graphics.

maybe when you compare screenshots pc games look better, but if you see a console and a pc game in motion side by side, the difference is not as noticeable. it is expensive, because you constantly have to upgrade your machine once yours gets dated out, which doesn't take a long time.

Umm no, in motion PC games destroy console games to an even high degree. It is not much more expensive than consoles unless you make it more expensive than consoles. It's up to you really. And the games are cheaper.

lol don't give me that bs. i have a pretty good pc, good graphics card, 4gb ram, etc. and i spent clost to $1500 on it. and some games i can't even play with everything high settings without getting huge drops in framerate and huge amounts of lagg. i use to upgrade my machine pretty frequently (every 6-8 moths or so) just to play some new games that come out, but i stopped since it was getting too expensive.

It's certainly noticeable if you have the eyes for it. And you don't have to constantly upgrade your machine. Crysis has been the best looking PC game for awhile now, and it looks to stay that way. Budget cards have been able to run it on high since its release.

You got ripped off then. Don't assume your case is everyone's case. I spent $600 building a PC last summer - it runs nearly every maxed. Hell, Empire: Total War breezes by with 4x AA and 16x AF at Ultra settings.

In your PS3 gamertag it shows Fallout 3 and Unreal Tournament 3. Why would you not buy those games on PC? What PC games do you own?

That's your issue. If you buy an enormous screen - you need the best hardware to max games at your screen's native resolution. Most people can settle for a 19" or 22" monitor. A 22" is more than large enough, considering how close you sit to the thing.

You got ripped off then. Don't assume your case is everyone's case. I spent $600 building a PC last summer - it runs nearly every maxed. Hell, Empire: Total War breezes by with 4x AA and 16x AF at Ultra settings.

well i bought my pc with a pretty big screen i included that with the $1500. i also built my pc with about $1000, and i still find my self having to upgrade every once in awhile.

Just doing basic maintenance will solve the issue there. If you shop smart you have to upgrade everyyear.

Lol are you kidding?

I built my PC during Christmas for $550 and I run every game at Max on near it at my resolution. What are your specs?

That's your issue. If you big an enormous screen - you need the best hardware to max games at your screen's resolution. Most people can settle for a 19" or 22" monitor. A 22" is more than large enough, considering how close you sit to the thing.

lol that may be my problem, gotta 30 inch screen cause i occasionally like to watch movies on my pc.
