Now that my 360 died, should I get a PS3?

I think the 360 hardware problems are getting better this year with improvements like the new quite DVD drive and the new 65nm CPU will reduce heat so it will be a lot better this fall. Oh and most people go over a year before they have problems and for the most part it's people who don't follow the manual and don't give the console enough space to get airflow around the console. It's very important to place the 360 in a good level place with lots of space for airflow and for every 6 hours of play give it 2 hours too cool down. I have had mine 360 for almost a year and it still works.

You should sell it and take your business elsewhere. The only way to force corporation to improve their products is to make them feel it in their pocketbook. Faulty hardware is no longer a coincidence M$ really needs to improve the reliability of the 360.Natural_Mystic

There were problems with launch PS3s so don't think Europe won't see problems too.

This will not always be the case. The new smaller CPU for the 360 will reduce a lot of the problems and that will be out this fall. In 2008 you will see a smaller GPU too and by than the 360 will be very reliable.

They got a 1 year warranty with the system so if it breaks call MS. Oh and the smart ones got a 2 year warranty.

ps3 and wii dont have problems as big as 360. Ive never heard of a series PS3 or Wii problem, no one complains about them, they are reliable.

Like I said the 360 will get better every year. This fall it will use a new smaller CPU that will reduce heat making for a more reliable console. There might be some issues with it being not reliable now but to say it will always be that way is simply wrong. Oh and you have to factor in some of the reasons the 360 is breaking is user error. People not using the console in the right way.

You wont regret it and i gurantee it wont break down like your 360tcc024

I'd call back, assuming the system is less than a year old.  Your entitled to a free replacement.

Otherwise, I'd take out your harddrive and sell the unit on Ebay and get a replacement.  I know the 360 has a reputation of dying but I've never had a problem with mine.  I'm on my 3rd Wii.
