uhh, we play our still labled *great* game, while waiting for another game that appeals to us comes out.

Yeah I dunno man.  I'm feeling a low 7 at best.  I guess I just can't see a flightsim like game on the wii

I dont understand how people can claim ownage on another group of people for a game getting a, literally, GREAT score.....it just doesnt make any sense....no matter what the system no matter what the game. Is this just a way for SW folks to delude themselves into thinking they are talking about games without actually talking about gameplay? Because this whole trend of picking an arbitrary number, predicting a score, and then claiming "ownage" for that game not getting that randomly predicted number, predicted by a small number of people not representative of any group whatsoever, is just an exercise in consumer stupidity.MaTT2011

Because Gamespot hates teh reading. Reviews for games whose dialogue is presented through text are generally mixed in that area. It depends on the reviewers attitude towards reading. I've got no problem with reading; I'd prefer text then having the game dragged down by cheesy dialogue.

I reallly don't like to associate "flop" with an 8.8.  I mean honestly this is better than what I personally was expecting for it (although I do realize the overall hype was AAA).

Don't you understand how System Wars works? Read the informational thread, PLEASE! If a game hasn't lived up to the predicted hype here on SW then it is a flop here on SW. 

You know what I don't like? this place is infested with people who have no idea what the word "flop" means. Look guys.. a flop is a game that did not live up to the hype. Super Paper Mario was hyped AAA in the official thread and it failed to meet up to expectations. That is the very definition of a flop! just accept it like a man and move on.

If you don't like whining about your game flopping then don't hype it before hand. The game flopped- end of story.  

I hyped it AAA, and it missed (only by 0.2 tho).  In my defence I actually think Gamespot hyped it AAA!   They ran 5 previews on the game, and a 4 hour live gameplay marathon!   Surely for Gamespot to have gone to all that effort, they must have thought it was going to be a very impressive game?
