Man, Now system wars wont be as fun since the majority of PS3 bashing was because of the price and lack of games. But now that the Price is reasonable and the Future game line up is looking strong, what is there to complain about now with the PS3.. :::Crickets Chirping::: We cant bash the price anymore because $399.99 is very reasonable and we really cant bash the games anymore since it has a good line up from here till early next year, i guess we can all just get along now!
Well I'm happy for those who are going to buy the $399 but I'm looking for an affordable PS3 with B/C. Funny enough I found a solution. I'm going to end up Ebaying or tracking down a 20GB model.

200 dollar drop in less than a year before being out after claiming we will PLAY BEYOND and making the 360 seem like last gen... PS3 can still be bashed to its enitrety :|
Once the price thing becomes unusable, all they will have is TEH GAMEZ SUX. When PS3 gets a healthy selection of AAA's it will be UHHH THEY DON'T INCLUDE AN HDMI CABLE!

Price cuts are apart of the war you know. This war is far from over and we all know that. The sweet point is going to be below 200 bucks.

Think about it. Xbox had one AAA game, for many years...
PS3 already has a few.. and more are coming over time. You have to account for time as a factor. It's easy to code pathetic Wii games, and the 360's had what? 2 yrs now. I didn't enjoy a 360 game up until Gears of War, in all honesty.
No backwards compatibility makes it useless to me. There's just too many PS2 games I still play, and I don't want 4 systems hooked up to my TV at once.

Yeah, well 360 is about $630 with the Wifi and HD-DVD add-ons which is what I paid for my PS3 with tax. But add ons are add ons.

At launch, when the PS3 was $600, everybody was saying "I am not buying PS3 for $600, I want $500".
Right now, the 80gb PS3 is 500, and people are saying they want $400. But there already is a $400 version. Even when the high-end PS3 reaches the same price as the Wii, people will STILL say that the PS3 is expensive, even at $250.
Yep see all them and also have no fear PS3 is still the most expensive console. 360 pro is $349.
