The new review system imo seems dumb. Why is Ng AAA, where did the score come from. i just can't shake the feeling of was this game closer to 9.3 or 8.7
The new system will get it's true test when Madden releases. With EA having difficulties on the PS3 hardware and only able to program it to 30 FPS while the more accustomed 360 version is at 60 FPS, I think it's clear that the 360 version should score higher.
How can it be closer to an 8.7 or 9.3 if the score is a 9.0? It would have to be one or the other. Doesn't really matter to me though, the system has worked fine so far and I like the medals.
I've never let reviews get in my way of anything so honestly I couldn't care less. If this is in response to the PS3's AAA then I would say let it go. You've got your list of most wanted games, I've got my list (Bwii, Brawl, Strikers, Corruption, Galaxy to name a few) and PS3 supporters (don't like using sheep cow lemming hermit etc.) got their list of most wanted games.

he is saying if games on the old reviewing sysetem scored an 8.8 they would be 9.0s now
The reviewing system feels like games have been "rounded" to a score for me.
I don't mind the new system. Honestly if i'm looking at a score for a game and it gets 8 or higher i'll be reading the review to see how it is if it's a game i'm interested in. You're still getting a pretty good review. It's just a score. Guess you guys might actually have to read the review and stop being like omg this game got 8.7 while this game got 8.9....
Well, the new system is definately bringing in more AAA like most people predicted. Its a double edged sword for SW goers. The PS3 finally has got a couple more AAA that might have "flopped". But, on the other end of the spectrum(as a lemming), things like Bioshock, Blue Dragon, and ME will most likely be AAA now.
So.. Don't really know. I think they should have released the new system in Jan of '08. That way hyped games could fly or flop legitimately rather then getting rounded up or down. There are so many huge games coming out in the next few months that would have made SW amazing and fun. Ah well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that most people did this. It just makes sense. That's why I think the new review system is better.
