also though i was a huge PS2 fan i had no probs admitting Xbox had a solid online service while PS2 didnt.. very few titles offered a good online experience on PS2 while Xbox had more on offer..

though am sure there have been some improvements, we shouldnt expect the final built to look 5 times better than the E3 one... I think what was shown at E3 (gameplay vids) represent basically the final product less some extra visual polishing done afterwards..

even after seeing gameplay video's i still couldn't make an informed opinion. i will have to play both for sometime to arrive at that opinion. i belive any true racing fan would feel the same

You were at GC? It's only a 3 hour drive from where Il ive, but I couldn't make it.

Both games look great, however the community features win it for Forza 3 in my book.

Although I'm willing to believe it is the E3 build, stating "Someone on the Forza forums confirmed it." isn't very great in the evidence department.

I think it's safe to assume both games shown will still receive some polish here and there, that's why I made it clear in my OP that my question is "which do you like based of these videos that we have now?".

Don't know why are they doing this, but it is the E3 build look at the cockpit, newer build has a different view.

Don't bother. I've read your graphical analysises here before and they sound very intellectual but for some reason they ALWAYS have the same outcome which is in favour of the 360 and downplaying anything PS3. I'd prefer it to be as objective as possible inSWin this thread.

Need For Speed Shift gets my vote.

Out of these two, Forza 3 is looking slightly better at the moment.

I think its fine to have these fanboy discussions and stuff. All faboys do this kind of thing remember, not just "lemmings"

But at the end of the day were not actually loyal to one company, we support whoever brings us the best. If Forza 3 looked better despite being pro ps3 Id say so. But it doesnt. It just clearly does not.

Also about halo reach I hope it looks good. It has its own engine and should be nice.

Scotland FTW im from near Falkirk xD i think both look equally as good but seeing some of shift i think it looks slightly better :S

Forza 3 looks good like someone is a good fake car designer, GT 5 looks realistic like a real car.

F3 to me seems to have more substance but they both look good.

It's hilarious to me how close this is, considering how much longer GT5 has been hyped and developed.

Forza Le Mans doesn't have night time racing, rally, and no weather though :P

I find it histerical that everyone is giving GT5 the graphics crown just because it's GT5 when in actually it looks the worst of them all.
