Wow, the sales of the 360 jumped 100K, thats pretty impressive, and Madden 08 nearly sells 900,000 copies, BioShock almost got 500,000.

PS3 got a price drop in July only to be outsold by the 360 in the US still while 360 was at its original price.

in August 360 outsold again, this time with a price drop and with a much larger gap. Pretty much proving that VG chartz is way off, they had the PS3 outselling the 360 in July.

With 360 only edging out the PS3 in August.

you can't say bioshock has owned MP3 in sales yet, b/c it was out a full two weeks before MP3....and mp3 was only available for the last weekend of august

This isn't good. Not only that, it's friggin' sad. They don't even have premiums (the only good deal, with the best price cut and value) on display at Best Buy. They have the easy decision of the Playstation 3 60 gig and the Xbox 360 Elite.

Sony needs to utterly destroy the Playstation 3's price point. THEY CAN NOT PLAY THIS GAME ANY LONGER.

I want to see some quality titles (please ensure Uncharted is more than 8 hours....) and an agreeable price point in time for the holidays. Like, desperately. Here I am, the early adopter, utterly bewildered at the floundering Sony. JUST CUT THE DAMN PRICE.

A. MP3's release date was the 27th, whereas Bioshock has been out almost two weeks. Of course MP3 won't have sales as good as Bioshock.

Probely because the 60 gigs are sold out. People isnt going to pay $600 for a Ps3system while the xbox is $300 and the Wii $250.

Besides its price, I don't, and I even own one. I'll probably rent Metroid and will buy SMG, but besides that, I haven't played it since June.

Pretty much what I predicted about 3 weeks ago. XBox 360 breaks 200K, which is what I said it would do because of the price cut. PS3 sales start slipping back down again. Look at the difference between Madden 08 sales on the 360 and the PS3. It even beat out the PS2. How is that possible when the PS2 has over 110 million units in gamers homes and the 360 has only 10 million? lmao!!
