The 360 has been the most consistant console in terms of quality games since its launch... It is very good to be a 360 gamer, always has been and always will be. It deserves the sales it gets. period.

It's so pathetic how some of you lems put sooo much value into the US NPD. The 360 can be getting destroyed in every single way possible, WW sales, games, features, price, but if the 360's ahead even by just a couple of units in the US NPD you see lems go into total friggen nirvana :lol:Eddie-Vedder

its like you and me are the only 2 that realize this....welll majority of the board knows but then you get some people that just want the wii to fail without any logic:P

What I find funny, is how PS3 fans like to poke fun at the XBOX 360 on how it's a faulty console and the PS3 is better, you'd think with that high of a failure rate the PS3 should be destroying it by now.

But still, 1 year head start, faulty console, and it's still outselling the PS3 after it's price drop. You can say what you want about WW, but this isn't a world wide thread.

Pretty sad imo.

I really don't care much about sales. I own all three systems and play my PS3 constantly.

But the fact that the XBOX still sells after all the hardware problems. Sony has to be scratching their heads.

Regarding the lower Wii sales, Reggie Fils-Aime made an interesting statement in this article.

We sold 3.8 million units in the month of December. The only way we were able to do that is every piece of hardware that was in our barn, in retailer barns and on retailer shelves was sold. There are 18,000 points of retail that sell our products. So think about it: I now need to refill 18,000 points of distribution. Plus refill retailer warehouses. Plus refill my warehouses. That's what we're trying to do right now and as soon as product goes into the retail shelf -- [he snaps] -- it's getting snapped up. That's how we were able to sell roughly 400,000 pieces of hardware in February and still be out of stock in seven out of 10 locations. Until we are back at a point where those shelves are fully stocked and there's product, we're going to be chasing this. And it's going to be a number of weeks.Reggie

March's NPD report may return to the status quo. It just the same thing that happened to the Wii in September 2007 and 2009.

What the Wii sold in December 2009 is enough to cover the sale losses for the first few months of 2010.
