Very very good numbers for the 360 doubled the PS3 and almost double the Wii numbers. Also dang look at the psp numbers.

edit- Only 5 times has the Wii been outsold and the 360 did it 4 of those times. Heck the 360 even outsold the DS this month.

Looks like Sony needs to step their game up with the PSP. 84k???

Those are some pretty monster 360 numbers. Everything else is meh though.

wow 360 nearly doubled wii? yup expected. slim effect + console 50 reduction I expect this to happen for the next month as well except less drastic, september aswell november too.....december though, IDK Wii might pull some muscle.mayceV

August I could see it, September is Halo month so again probably, after that though probably gonna be close. December? I don't think the 360 has a chance.

I think people tend to focus on the first point and neglect the latter two.

The 360 outsold the Wii two months in a row. Nice momentum there. If it outsells it this month, that would be crazy.

Ouch only 200k for crackdown 2 , lawl funny how heavy raid outsold crackdown 2 with better competition .

there wasn't much to drive software last month though, NCAA and Crackdown 2 aren't exaclty system sellers. Now if NPD was such a data whore, we could have like a platform top 10 and see what else actually sold. **** you NPD, you royally suck. As for this momentum of the 360, generally, redesigns boast the system baseline of sales so while the 360 will fall it won't be back to previous levels.

when the slim came out, nice numbers for the 360. the slim really boosted their sales.

Don't know how it will perform, I think it will be successful but I'm not sure how much so.

I don't think redesigns in themselves create a new floor for sales, unless they offer a particularly different experience. Price cuts produce a new floor. E.g. I don't think the PS3 would have found a higher new floor in sales purely from releasing a slim without cutting the price.

Sony needs a new console. :P

I'm not surprised by the 360 numbers but they are impressive. Good to see DQIX and SMG2 in the top 10.

Good sales overall except the PSP again. Quite the opposite of Japan but not surprsing either.

Go 360. That new console revision launch really did well.
