Between a direct comparison of say the Wii and Xbox 360, Oblivion is exclusive to only one of these. Exclusives should only be removed if they're equal across all systems. Here's a mathematical example.

X(Xbox360) = X(PS3) = X(Wii) = X(PC)

Now if X is the same for each system and scored the same (so it's the same game essentially) then you can remove (ie divide X) from the equation.

X(Xbox360)/X = X(PS3)/X = X(Wii)/X = X(PC)/X -> Xbo360 = PS3 = Wii = PC (or they're all on the same playing field)

In the case of Oblivion:

X(Xbox360)/X = X(PS3)/X = (Wii)/X = X(PC)/X -> Xbo360 = PS3 = Wii/X = PC (they're not all equal in other words)

PS3

Exclusive AAA titles - 0

Exclusive AA titles - 3 ( Ridge Racer 7, Virtua Fighter 5, Resistance Fall of Man)

Wii

Exclusive AAA titles - 1 (WarioWare: Smooth Moves)

Exclusive AA titles - 4 (Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Rayman Raving Rabbids, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, Super Paper Mario)

So much for PS3 having better games...

HappySunnGuy

it does, does wii have oblivion? nope

does 360? yep.

does ps3 have tp/spm? no.

why bring in the 360 when the p[erson was talking about wii/ps3

does wii have resistance or VF5? no

i said it, cause you ridiculed others for not having it, when others do.

this can go on forever. so im gonna stop that now.

I ridiculed the Wii owners for not having it. I know that Oblivion is on 3 platforms. But when making direct comparisons with the Wii, the Wii does not have that game, so it's a reason to take another console over the Wii.

cause every gamer plays oblivion.

personally, i hate mmorpgs. but thats just me.

Oblivion's not a MMORPG. :|

I wasn't aware Oblivion was out for the Wii...

a game is not exclusive if it is shared with any consol at all. a game can not be considered e4xclusive because the other system with that game is not in the arguement.

It's not on the Wii...

Each system multiplied by a common denominator is confusing? :?

Time for the 360 exclusive list...

AAA exclusives: 3 games (gears of war, PD0, GRAW)

AA exclusives: 11 (DoA4, PGR3, Kameo, Table Tennis, Dead Rising, Viva Pinata, Top Spin 2, Lost Planet, Uno, RR6, Condemned)

Correct me if I made any mistakes.

Magical_Guy

those are on PC too

GRAW is so different on pc that it's easily different from the 360 version. Thanks for pointing out ts2 and condemned though.

As far as games go, you'd have a tough time proving someone wrong who says the 360 is the best system. It has around 50 AA games, and 5 AAA games by Gamespot standards. A lot more by gamerankings, but that doesn't matter here. The point is, the PS3 only has one AAA game, which was on the 360 last year, the Wii has very, very little right now. If you want to play the best games, there are more on the 360 than you can afford. PS3 owners are still waiting for something good however, and Wii owners are pretty much waiting for Metroid.

With the 360 however, you could buy one 80%+ game a week and be set for over a year. And that's just what's out now. Never mind the stuff that's coming like Mass Effect, Forza and Halo.

You can if you bring up the pc during the same period, I'm pretty sure it has more AA+ games than all three consoles combined

Wii-7 AA+ games.. 1 AAA game

PS3-15 AA+ games 1 AAA game

Xbox 360-47 AA+ games 5 AAA games

interesting..

Drop00

47 AA+ games? I assume this means AA + AAA Games = AA+ Games? Otherwise, you lie.

That's why I own a 360 and not the others... at this point in time. However the PS3 is coming to the point where I would be happy with it's games library if I didn't already have a 360 (many games are multiplat) and it wasn't so expensive. I do wonder why so many people are buying the Wii. At this point I think the PS2 is the better option if you want a cheap system and there are still good games coming out on it if you have already have one.
