Lol, that resolution is absurd, 4K even moreso. Unless you're playing on a drive-in screen and/or unless you've got some sc-fi cyborg eyes there is no point in setting resolution above 1080p. I think these PC guys set their games to these ridiculous resolution settings just for bragging rights, not because they actually see the difference.

Clear difference between 480p and 1080p (Although I've met people that have a tough time noticing the difference between DVD and Blu-Ray, believe it or not). 1080p vs 1600p = no difference whatsoever to human eyes unless the image is being projected onto the side of a freaking building or maybe if the person is viewing the content with their face pressed up to the glass of the screen for whatever crazy reason. This is all about boasting, nothing more.

1600p has more than twice the pixels of 1080p if you can't see the difference you need to visit your eye doctor, but I'm sure a miracle will happen and you'll see the difference if or when it happens on a console game

No I was never able to update MSG4...

Heavy Rain was just one of the many games I had issues, isn't that what I stated ?  giving examples ?... and this was with a Slim Ps3 and it didn't last just a day... cleary you need to stop making assumptions.

But that's current gen games with current gen shader tech... Next gen consoles aren't DX11.1 bound (unless MS want to enforce it for cross platform development).OctaBech

The next gen consoles are powerfull enough to push gaming forward. There are tons of great developers out there that have never worked on, or really utilized hardware like the gaming PC's have had for the last few years. But of course will we be able to get higher framerates and resolutions on a gaming rig with a monster GPU like that. 

I will buy the PS4 and then later on in the gen I will upgrade or buy a new gaming PC.

Nor is it necessary. Only if you're an enthusiast, who absolutely has to have the maximum settings in any given game, then you have the OPTION to upgrade. This is a luxury console only gamers don't have.

Again, never base your upgrades on hardware cycles. Only upgrade when YOU need to.

GeForce GTX 780 doesn't even support DirectX11.1 Level 11.1 i.e. it only supports DirectX11.1 Level 11.0.
