Cos it looks totally different to what IV was? :?

But will it be fun? There's too little information to judge this. They all are riding the brandname bandwagon, which was lost to me after 4.
There were HUGE gameplay blowout previews a few months back divulging a tonne of info on the game.
People are excited because of what they read and heard, not because it's just GTA.Â
I'm one of the people that didn't like IV and wasn't even excited about V until I read all that stuff
If you're too lazy to go find all the info then that's your problem but don't claim people are excited just cos of brand name. Sure a lot are but not everyone who's hyping the game is like that
Yeah, I played GTAIV, didn't even finish it, never played any other GTA games, but this one has me incredibly excited. It has nothing to do with the brand name. Though the fact that it's being made by one of the best, if not the best developers in the world is contributing to my hype.Thier is only one reason for GTA on pc, the mods, the game just shines, I own both pc and console variants, but without modding the pc version would have been forgotten a long time ago.

Bu bu bu mods ruin the original vision of the developers  they are probably the reason why Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version of GTA V.
But seriously I saw this awesome mod the other day :P
I wanted it. GTA V not RDR.
I wanted it too, I'm still buying the PS3 version whether or not the PC version comes a week after, a month after, or several months after.

Hermits pretended that they never wanted the gameprinceofshapeir

I'll just need to wait it out this time. Anyhoo it's GTA I'll at least get to play it at my friends since everybody and their dog are buying it :P
still you seem to have an inabilty to grasp the simple concept that not everyone is like yourself, no doubt we'll face the same old canned idiotic reply you constantly protest and have ready to copy paste something that literally a minute percentage of the gaming population cares about. The console gameplay wont be inferior it will be the exact same for GTA 5 on all platforms only input will differ and near enough comes down to personal preference before you sit on your high horse bleating on bout M and KB.

inferior graphics and gameplay equals better now

Everyone (except stubborn console fanboys) will agree that playing GTA5 like this:
"2560x1440, 60fps, high settings, control scheme of your choice, mods, etc"
is better than:
"720p or sub-hd, low settings, 20-30fps, no options for different control schemes, no mods, etc"
^FACT
now get lost you dirty console peasant.
GTA 4 didn't run at 60 fps on PC. Let's be real, this one probably won't either.Apprently 20 vs 60 fps is the same exact experience.

games like gtaV is better on consoles
blamix99
Yeah sure, with low-res textures, aliasing, fps drops and washed out graphics.
oh sorry.. i did not know that graphics matters most for youOkay. So what advantages does a console version have?

Games on PC run at whatever framerate your system is powerful enough to put out. They're not limited (except in some cases of exceptionally terrible ports, and even then, the limits are fixed by modders within days of release). The PC version of GTA4 was horribly optimized, and doesn't run 60 fps on as many systems as it should, but it still does, for some people. And even if it doesn't hit 60, 30-40-50 is far better than the 25 or so the console versions got.

Okay. So what advantages does a console version have?
I'm pretty damn sure it'll work right out of the box, day one, not day whenever you guys get it, day whenever Nvidia gets around to releasing an updated driver, etc.. Playing it in Surround would be nice, but since I have to choose, I'll take the PS3 version and accept the inherent tradeoff.idk if this was posted already , but it seems like nivida made a mistake  http://www.twinfinite.net/blog/2013/08/13/nvidia-doesnt-know-if-gta-v-will-be-released-on-pc/Â
May not be a creditable sourceÂ

Yeah, that totally makes up for everything else, and counters all of the undeniable improvements and advantages the PC version will have. Good things come to those who wait. And, thanks to amazing steam sales, I've got more than enough incredible games in my backlog to keep me satisfied a couple extra months.Â
I was actually really hoping the guy I quoted would chime in with the ever-idiotic, "game is made for controller, mouse and keyboard suck, so PC version is inferior for having options!"

See, that's the funny thing about those options you guys keep going on about... not everyone values the same ones that you do. Everyone already has options... they can game on a platform that gets it day one with no wait on third party hardware vendors to catch up on drivers, or they can get it on a platform that has the advantages you mentioned.

Everyone knows it´s coming to the PC,never was a doubt about that.StrongBlackVine
Yep... though I still love hearing the consolites silently pray about it skipping the PC!
Let them enjoy the beta, I'll be playing the full product, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Hermits never got Read Dead Redemption. Are you all still begging for that one?
If the first game never made it to PC, why would the 2nd?
Hermits still kicking and screaming for console games  Buh buh moar gamez dan all tree consolez combined!!!!!!!!!! Well then go play those games you fat sack of shitSNIPER4321the game will be mediocre over the top "fun" with terrible characters and story with night clubs and half nake girls dancing and blah blah blah. Watch Dogs will be better. more mature game. based on hacking. and looks more refreshing than GTA5.
Funny, that seems really similar to Metro Last Light to me.
