[QUOTE="razgriz_101"][QUOTE="xhawk27"]I just saw the video and I can't see anything that bad about it. The idea of voting for things looks cool. The Ads you have to go and click on them they don't automatic go right in your face. I find it funny all the haters commenting about the video on youtube. lolxhawk27
most are complaing, cause why should we pay and still have to put up with ads.We pay for a service for a reason, like WoW or any other game that would ever think of introducing ad systems they would get ripped to bits just like XBL.
If we as a paying customer pay for something then we expect some give or take, this is essentially like say my phone provider telling me that ohh look at this as soon as my phone boots up it just doesnt happen for a multitude of reasons.
Sure vodafone have texted me over the past about competition in sync with McLaren F1 but thats cause of a sponsorship agreement and i get passed down some good out it like a free competition for a meet and greet at silverstone during the F1 through thr VIP programme.
This on the other hand just looks completely horrid and a poor attempt at trying to virally market products which really dont need viral marketing.
Look I am not for Ads at all but look at Cable TV you pay for that right. There are lots of Ads on there. If you go look on PSN and XBL dashboard you'll see Ads already there. The future of advertising is going to be viral marketing I am afraid to say. If you have to click on the Ad to bring it up to full screen I dont' see the problem don't click on it. thing is a cable supplier doesnt own all the channels the cable/satellite provider is paid off them to host the channels where they make profit from them and we pay to use the tech to watch said tv, where as MS own all the assets related to Xbox live in relation to the server farms and the core system which is paid for off our subscription and recording record profit year on year.
You cant dress this up any other way than a really really pisspoor attempt at trying to go viral. Its already virtually despised by everyone except the really die hard fanboys.
