I won't watch it. But I find it interesting how there is a company out there willing to leave behind a successful franchise for a new one.

IW would be the weak link. Bungie is a decent dev but IW knows nothing except for how to copy a formula.

No! I never want to happen. All the talent in IW is gone anyway. I rather see Bngie contiuing to do what they want without being influenced by greedy companies like Activsion.

I never understood that, becuase Bungie is one of the most active and caring developers out there.

They didn't update Reach because 343 would eventually take over and make their own improvements. They made 9 maps and all were created from the ground up for multiplayer then ported to campaign.

It's wierd though, throughout all these years and all these vi-docs, it feels like I actually know Bungie. And I am god-damn proud to call myself a Bungie fanboy.

Also, keep an eye out for clues as to what their next game is. I can almost guarantee people will be dissecting the video piece by piece to see if there is any references hidden away in plain sight.

First of all, Halo isn't the only good franchise they have done, although it is certainly their best. Second, the Halo games have all been extremely good in my opinion (and received very high scores). Third, with a fanbase as large as Halo's it basically makes it very hard to make any signifant changes to the core formula without resulting in massive backlash. I don't see huge changes in other popular franchises such as Uncharted, Killzone or Resistance either. Finally, they probably aren't the ones who set the price for ODST. In any case the price really has nothing to do with their talent as developers anyway.

Yeah, no. You're forgetting Marathon, Myth and Oni. It's far from copied and pasted. Every Halo game plays differently. You should just watch it. Freshen up your history.

That motion capture part at the end was quite interesting. Also, I can't imagine how awesome Halo 2 would have been if everything went according to plan.

Such a class act and it's why they sit at the head of the class - can't wait to see their new game changer umm, game. :P

Aaaaaaaand good ridance, Bungie offiically killed Halo with Reach.

Still, I have respect for them making the first 3 games. They were what Halo was truly all about.
