Ok guys, lets be honest, the only reason why most of us hate sony its cus the price,,, Otherwise the PS3 is a dream system, Blueray Hd, 60 GB HARD DRIVE, CELL PROCESOR, UP TO 7 PLAYERS, FREE ONLINE SERVICE, AND Dolby Soundround HD Bluetooth, etc... U get a Gamin machine and a blue ray player for only $ 600!!!!! IF WE DO THE MATH! THE XBOX360 IS MORE THAN THAT, U NEED TO PAY FOR ONLINE SERVICE AND IF U WANT A HD IS EXTRA $200 MORE.

Ps3 is a great system for a great price, im gettin mine this weekend, and its shape and look is so sexie shiny black!!!!

Well I guess you're faking but for anyone who does think that:-

The PS3 technology is not much newer than the Xbox 360 technology. It was delayed a lot because of issues with Blu-ray and the Cell. Many people say the 360 is slightly better for games because of a better design. David Jaffe reckons the PS3 is better but just more difficult to get the most out of and will show it in the long run. But then again he works for Sony. To make a decision between the PS3 and 360 based on power would be pointless. It would have been understandable for someone comparing the Xbox to the PS2 years ago.

Let me explain this to you in a hypothetical situation:

Day 1

::A new computer is being made by microsoft.  Supporting 2 terabytes of ram and disk space respectively, it also runs on a revolutionary new processor and includes disk drives that support every disc format imaginable::
...
 

Day 300
::Microsoft announces it's retail for 3699 USD.  A new step forward in price for a home computer, but MS is still losign money on it::

Day356

::The computer releases.  It is immediately slammed with criticisms and features windows XP software instead of any type of vista::

Day380

::Barely anybody buys it after the post-lauch mania.  However, the topic poster buys it, knowing good software is scheduled to come out for it in 08::

"Why buy any lower computer?" He tells the internet, "I'd rather have this and wait than enjoy games steadily from now and for years to come.".

Developers have a year head start with the 360. The PS3 will spend the lifecycle of the 360 playing catch-up, and when it finally reaches it's peak (Sony says it will last 10 years, so we'll say 5 years from now)... there will be a new Xbox coming out and obliterates whatever the PS3 is doing at that time. Meanwhile the cows can try to cheer themselves up by watching some movies in HD.playwithfire17
