Id say the mere fact he NAMED xbox says that the brand name is growing. Last gen, we only saw Playstation in movies, commercials, tv shows, and spoken of by older people, now its Xbox. So maybe the title should read "WTF happed to the playstation brand" :P I kid, i kid :P

because he's already taken your guns and taxed you to death, right? gimme a break, you people make up facts to make him seem bad. he would be incredibly stupid to try to take your guns. as for socially elevated people like the president, i look to them for no guidance as to what is the best system.

By that logic Bush was also socialist for the bailout last Sept. You people really need to read some history.

Well, back then, sony paid for alot of those placements, just like MS does now. But Madden challenge started off as a simple choice, but now is a marketing agreement with EA and MS. Its just that Xbox is more "out there" than playstation among the important 10-34 demographic that everyone wants. So thats why its in more stuff, it makes people pay attention. Remember when parents thought EVERYTHING was a "nintendo" :P, and then everything was a "playstation", well, now Xbox has become that moniker for gaming, and all credit goes to MS for saturating the market in order to overcome the powerhouse that is the playstation brand, even if it cause RROD :P

I completely disagree...Even with something like the great depression the market didnt just fix itself. The government pumped massive amounts of money into the economy during both the new deal and WWII. Sure, maybe somewhere down the line things would have picked up. But how many years would it take before that? And, if there wasnt some fundamental changes to the market system, wouldnt it just happen again?

see "the Hungarian miracle." then there was brazil and Peru mid 90's well just about any country that has come out of any sort of real economic problems has done so with free trade, that being the governing body of the state steps all the way back and lets the market sort its self out. it seems to be the only way to stop hyperinflation, something some people are saying the states could have in the near future.

in a completely different post, a war time economy is not a free economy by any means, and i know some political science majors that would argue down the new deal as if it killed their mothers. i am not one of them, i am more so an outcome kinda guy and where the new deal did help us to where we are today id also lead to some of the major problems in the late 70's

socialist, not a fascist

actually he is more fascistic then socialist. He is nationalizing a lot of industry, his speeches are also very fascistic. there was a quote from his inauguration that was like "It's not if government is too big or too small, it's if it works" which means he'll do anything to get a government to work and he is expanding government A LOT.

Actually because he isn't war mongering he isn't necessarily a full on Fascist. But he does have a lot of Fascistic political beliefs.

[QUOTE="wolverine4262"]no, you are both wrong. He is African American...I know that can get confusing though.... Seriously, he is a democrat plain and simple...DumbDubya

he fired the CEO from a publicly traded company GM, so⋅cial⋅ism   /ˈsoʊʃəˌlɪzəm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [soh-shuh-liz-uhm] Show IPA Use socialism in a Sentence –noun 1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. 2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory. 3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles. when the government messes with free trade it is a socialist action, when when makes socialist decisions they are a socialist

By that logic Bush was also socialist for the bailout last Sept. You people really need to read some history.

i told every one i knew how bad the bailouts where, i even made up a flier with some accounting buddies of mine. i am not as a norm a political person but when the GOV is bailing out an oldmans club that has bad business practices i felt it was needed to speak out. both obama and bush were for the bailouts, why? because they got a hell of a lot of funding by some of those companies that needed to be bailed out. government corruption is fine till it hits the market, at that point its time to fight or prepare for a long period of economic decay

Obama is a fascist.

He can go to hell for all I care. Only bad thing is I have two kids that have to grow up with this socialist utopia crap.

CruxisXIII
socialist, not a fascist

actually he is more fascistic then socialist. He is nationalizing a lot of industry, his speeches are also very fascistic. there was a quote from his inauguration that was like "It's not if government is too big or too small, it's if it works" which means he'll do anything to get a government to work and he is expanding government A LOT.

once i see some freedoms go i will be all for that term, nationalizing the state fits them both but i will stick with the kinder word till he takes a freedom or two

[QUOTE="surrealnumber5"][QUOTE="navyguy21"] lol, obama cant fire anyone from a publically traded company lol. Why do you REALLY hat Obamea?? Go on, you can say it, we all know the truth :Pnavyguy21

with the bailout money the GOV retained a vested interest in GM

So blame Bush, the bailout came BEFORE Obama, so why blame him?? He was stuck with the cleanup. So really though, why do you REALLY hate him??

obama

[QUOTE="navyguy21"][QUOTE="StealthKnife"] thats an interesting thiong to point out.. it was always "PlayStation in movies, shows, and even music, now its 360... i dont know why... is it considered advertisement? or is it just whats more owned? either way.. that video is funny aero250

I agree with this xbox is taking over muhaha.

Of course you would lol. But it still has to conquer nintendo for console/handheld supremecy. And fact of the matter is the ps brand is not that big this gen and MS is an american company. So its only natural that he would say Xbox.
