• NPD Coverage: October 4-31, 2015 (4 weeks)
• NPD Release: Thursday, November 12th @ 4 p.m. EST.

Now, some info regarding the potential shakers of October:

• PS4 Price Drop to $349 (Oct. 9) - 23 days
• Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (Oct. 7) - 25 days
• XB1 Halo 5 1TB bundle ($499, Oct. 20) - 12 days
• XB1 Halo 5 Regular bundle ($350)
• Halo 5 (Oct. 27) - 5 days (already confirmed to have made $400 million)

If PS4 beats the Bone or it's even close, people need to sit the **** down about this Halo nonsense.

I think it's safe to call this month for the OUYA

PS4 will win hardware sales, whilst Halo 5 will rank either at the top, or close to it in software rankings.

Sony by a hair is my bet. If not, then MS by a hair. This will be a close month like April was, but with way higher numbers. Halo will obviously top the charts. I don't see many people buying UCC on it's own.

Newp, and on top of that, the Halo 5 edition was sold even before the release date of the game. So, there is no escaping that the game would push hardware in October. The only thing that remains to be seen is by how much.

Xbox One wins this, but not by a very large margin. Halo 5 either tops the All Formats chart, or at the very least is the highest selling individual SKU.

I really thought that Xbox One would have October in the bag easily, but based on Amazon monthly and that spin-fillied Halo 5 PR release I think:

Playstation 4 will win by a very small amount, maybe 20k.

If Xbone doesn't win this month...just fcking LOL!

But still will be on par imo, one will win but only marginally.

I think Halo 5 pushes X1 to win the month.

This is what I'm expecting too tbh.

I'm curious to see the effect of the PS4's price-cut this and the next month though.

With Halo 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, I'll go with Xbox One winning November is my best guess.

The WiiU winning October will definitely be world ending. I seriously wonder how the lems and especially the cows will react if that ever happened. If the xbox one wins this month I think the cows won't be that happy and after what has happened on this board in the last few days. I also think it will probably be payback time for the lems until the november NPD. At this point I kinda do want this scenario to happen to see what happens.

Price drop helps PS4, Halo 5 helps MS. Think both sell well for this month. November will be better, can see how the COD and Battlefront thing goes for PS4 against Xbox One.

The only thing that saved Sony from not losing October is that price drop. PS4 is going to win it by less than 10k.

So, PS4 won the month of October in Amazon's best sellers in video games list. Don't know if Amazon's best seller list is a good reference to use, but it should give us an idea of what to expect.

Those exclusive Battlefront PS4 Bundles are gonna destroy Halo bundles in the month of November.

Halo 5 will sell more in November then it ever would in Oct. It'll probably be close though . Nov & Dec will be the months to watch.

I'm wondering when cows will realize that they should sit the **** down, and just get a long with the fact that Halo will always do better sales-wise than any other PS4 exclusive. Winning, or losing NPD has nothing to do with that. But keep trying to make Halo less significant, it's funny to see you bend over backwards to achieve nothing.
