So you get The Walking Dead on both systems, and not even the second season, a worse version of a game they just gave away, and a meh Ubisoft game.
I'll use my free 30 days later.

I dunno, Valiant Hearts is a lot better than Shit Raider.
Makes this "leak" hilarious in retrospect though.
Going back to three games a month is a dick move though. #BetterXBL
Better than the crap PS+ gives away.
Only post 4? Reflexive lem saltiness is getting slow.
@Bigboi500: game's boring, it's a visual novel without any interesting gameplay to back it up. I love the facts and history behind it but it's so boring to actually play.
Can't really argue with you there... but I'm a sucker for sob stories like those.
huh, MGS again? that was last months free game..
Anyways, Seems to me MS doesnt even want to give us free games. they're basically just going along with it because sony is doing it.
@bigkingcheese: Nah, I don´t think so, with the exception of Vita I own every PoS system available so that hardly qualifies me as a lem, try later champ.
Lem confirmed.
I already have both but for people who never tried either, especially The Walking Dead, I would day this is a pretty good month, I'm definitely telling a few of my friends who I think will enjoy TWD.
other than Valiant Hearts, October GwG does indeed seem bad, especially since they just gave away Ground Zeroes on Xbox One, now they're giving away Walking Dead on both systems which I already have on both Xbox 360/One
Oh shit, I hadn't noticed that Walking Dead on Xbone is until November 15th as well. So it's going to be three games again in November. Hahahahaha!
It's not so bad for people who haven't played these titles. Are we really going to start bitching about games we're getting for free?
I'm curious why this is so bad- August last year we got Strike Suit Zero and Crimson Dragon, in May we got Castlestorm. Those were the worst months of all time.
And I'd take Valiant Hearts and the Walking Dead over Chariot, Volgar the Viking, Worms Battlegrounds, Pool Nation, Massive Chalice, and How to Survive.
@Blabadon: Lol are you serious? Walking Dead & especially Valiant Hearts are brilliant games. Valiant Hearts was close to being my GOTY for that year.
Geez some people are too damn hard to please.
These games are only considered "bad" in this place when GwG offers them, it's not hard to tell the bias. I think it's common knowledge that these games will likely go back and forth and made available for each systems at any given time. Anyway since the Walking Dead TV show is coming back in October, it's just fitting that the game is made available for the month. Since the 360 GwG is still being acknowledged, then we have to acknowledge the fact you get ownership for all 360 GwG games you get, you can never say that about the PS3 offerings. And with them announcing backward compatibility for these upcoming 360 GwG games, just makes them even sweeter, there's no PS3 backward compatibility with the PS4. Also I wonder what other full game will they offer you to play for the weekend this month at no extra cost. Xbox gives you extra rental type full games and movies to rent for free at no extra cost along side the GwG offerings, while you need to pay for another subscription (PSNow) on top of the subscription you're already paying for (PS+) to gain access to these rental type offerings.
All of those games are quite good, IMO. What is bizarre is that all three of them were previously PS+ titles this year.
I imagine if one of these "freebie" deals was negotiated by MS/SOny, the other side could easily enough get the same deal?
I don't realy know how it works, just guessing :P
Dirty little secret: "free" games are only as good as the library of the console. In Xbox One/PS4's case, non-existent.
