AAA- Many people have stated that they think it will be docked for lack of online, but I don't think that Gamespot will punish it for that but will instead enjoy it for it's remarkable single player experience.
In the review for Metroid Prime, Greg states "and finally, someone, somewhere will complain that Metroid Prime has no multiplayer features. But we'll leave that for someone, somewhere to complain about, since it's hardly relevant." In the review for MP2 he describes the inclusion of multiplayer as "strange".
I think that Gamespot realizes that Metroid Prime is primarily about atmosphere, and exploration, and while multiplayer may be essential for action based FPS games, it is "hardly relevant" to the Metroid Prime experience.
