Why are review scores slipping everywhere? 9.7 for GOWII at IGN, 7.8 for Cackdown here at GS, 9.7 for VF5 it's the same as virtua fighter 4 edition at 1up. Geez.

I totally agree, i feel the same.
Samething could be said for other games (Zelda tP for example) but that "poor review" that you ppl call is the one we use for ownage. And this game flopped thats it... That was mainly the cows because they were mad that the PS3 had a terrible launch.
My browser, it does something pretty strange. Sometimes it goes to these websites where this game actually got some pretty great reviews. Still going to buy it, still going to love it. Thanks for your time Jeff.
I admit ownage. I hyped AA and guessed 8.2-8.4. Still in the air about buying it. I'm not sure how long it will keep me playing.  Regardless, to the people who's games are receiving good scores from other sites and have suddenly started to re-appear.....Welcome back to GS.
No ownage, 16 other great gaming sites have given Crackdown a AAA or AA rating, only 4 have in the 70% range, this being one of them. Great Game. Baaad review here.
Ouch. Well, I'm still looking forward to this one. However, I'm still not happy with the targeting, and the removal of gang members once you've knocked off a kingpin ruins some of the fun - perhaps some random unaffiliated criminals scattered here and there, even in recaptured territory, would keep things fresh for picking up and playing around.
Hmm... it seems some of the lemmings(only a few) are playing some kind of Zelda:TP remix with this game's score. It flopped, doesn't matter what the other site gave it, its a flop, time to move on (not saying you shouldn't buy the game if you want it, just its a flop here)...

 Your misinformed, after you beat the game you get an option to turn crime on or off, then there are game member always running around even after you beat the game. It goes on forever.

I hyped mid AA, so it did fall below my expectations. Maybe they'll do some more side stuff and a better story for the sequel. As it stands, the core gameplay is there. It just needs a little more variety, a little more fleshing out, and a multiplayer mode. I'll still get this one.
For any that thought this game was going to be good did not watch the On the Spot like 2 weeks ago. They did a demo and the game looked lame. The only cool part was the jumping around, but that would have to get old after awhile.
