Nooooooo, my thread is locked, I didn't see your sticky.
Anyways.
So I wanna hear lemmings who didn't play DMC series, what was your impressions of the game that once was a PS exclusive?
Im just curious to know if Capcom gonna be disappointed with lemmings or not.
Im just curious to know if Capcom gonna be disappointed with lemmings or not.credibilityzeroYou know Capcom made Dead Rising and Lost Planet, right?
Anyway, I only owned a PS2 last gen, but DMC4 seemed coolish. I'd have to play more to really decide whether it's worth playing in full.
Ugh. I don't get how cows and lems dedicate all of their energy to proving their version of DMC4 is the best. If past multi-plats have taught us anything, they'll be nearly identicalhamstergeddonLike the Orange Box and Fear?
I'm actually disappointed in this game, can someone explain it to me. I expected more from all the hype around it, coming from there fans. From playing the demo, everything seems mapped to one button like the sword combos. It seems too simple.
Where is the skill and satisfaction. I'm used to Ninja Gaiden and how all the controls blend together for combos yet stay separate.
I don't see why you need a gun either. There is nothing fun about its use.
Is this really the game the PS fanboys conducted a petition over?

I know, but both were directed for the lemmings taste. :P
It is a great game, don't miss it. ;)
why have their been so many topics on this? whens it coming out?samusarmadaFebruary 5th.
Gamefaqs is your friend.
Anyway, I'll be buying Culdcept. Poor DMC 4.
It is a great game, don't miss it. ;)credibilityzero
Comes out the same day as my most anticipated game. It will have to wait at least a month. And then I'll have plenty of reviews and first hand accounts to go by.

It is a button for the sword and a button for the gun and the third is for your devil bringer which is your hand, you have three different weapons and can be all mixed with combos, don't feel disappointed.
It is so hard when you proceed in the game, this is only an easy part on the game, I know about it because I've played the series and DMC4 will be like the others.
Hey it is only a demo, it is not an excuse for this amazing game, I just want you to know there will be alot more than guns to hold,
Yup, it is one of the best action games in the PS2 era and I was one of the fans who were pissed off to hear it is going multi-plat.
Don't hate great games, hate bad games which DMC4 is not one of them.

Culdcept Saga.Im going to check it out now, the name sounds cool.
EDIT: I don't like this type of games, is it a card game or strategy? I saw two different types of gameplay.

Well based on what you have said im gonna have to try to get hold of a full copy to play, to try it out, because this demo sucks and has put doubts in my mind, I can't see this demo being a good idea to convince new players.
I had it on pre order as well.
I can't see this demo being a good idea to convince new players.Darth_DuMasIt's moronic. They should have just allowed unlimited time in that first area. I mean, I got past the ice demons in the 10 minute allotted time as it was.
They should have let us play with the game more, rather than either rushing, or fighting boss types. :?
i never expected much from this game. im not buying it i found it repetitive as always, i like the enviroment though, they could have made it better though, (i liked the use of the arm....)also the music lol? repetitive as all the dmc series, i preffer ninja gaiden imo its much better than this but its just my opinion.
I don't like this type of games, is it a card game or strategy? I saw two different types of gameplay.credibilityzeroBoth. Use cards to interact with enemy, use board to place cards and get enough territory to win. Its predecessor was on the PS2.

I want to add something, maybe because it is a demo, they had it in easy mode, because I remember backthen, it was hard just like Ninja Gaiden, normal enemies can kill you, it is better to try the full game.
I also think it is on easy mode so new players can get some great feeling about the game and not get killed every two seconds, but I think they also failed in the same time because you are disappointed somehow.
Great decision you made, try the full game and Im sure you will be a fan of the series just like us. ;)

I thought it's main gameplay was the cards which I don't like, but there is mix, sounds cool.

Doubtful. Remember, most 360 owners actually buy games.
We will see.

Funny, you make it sound like a fact instead of a opinion, from reading your post one would think that the article says the PS3 version has lower res textures and more jaggies when what it does says is that it has equal textures, possible less jaggies and motion-blur.
Go figure.
I have to say that after playing both versions that the PS3 looks better. It almost looks as if the PS3 is also doing occlusion mapping and running at a higher native resolution. It also feels and plays better on the PS3. The color might actually be fuller on the 360, but the image is definitely sharper and clearer on PS3.

OK here's a challenge for you guys :D
Who has finished the entire 10 minute demo ( Fortuna city - Ice castle - Berial boss fight ) in under the 10 minutes given?
I have!....twice so far. BET YOU GUYS CAN'T, because frankly speaking, you are weaksauce 8)
Captain-win
I have with 30 seconds to spare, is not that hard.
I was happy to see that the game play is more like the first Devil May Cry instead of the third one. The third one is the worst game in the series. I might actually have to pick it up now.
I own both a 360 and PS3 and I'll be picking it up on PS3. The game just plays and feels better on the PS3 for some reason in my opinion.
