did anyone else not enjoy the demo?

i didnt like it. i personally like ninja gaiden gameplay over dmc4's demo gameplay. i did think the graphics were good, but i hated how some areas the camera was fix and couldnt rotate it like how it is with the resident evil and onimusha games. i dont see myself getting or playing this game when it comes out.

i thought it was cool how they added the part where you fight those ice monsters until you die. im sure that made a lot of dmc fans happy and are probably going to play that level until the full game comes out.

According to the knowledgable chaps over at Beyond3D, the reason why the PS3 version looks blury is because it can't achieve the same level of AA as the 360 version so blends frames together.

I loved it, and I was really impressed by the gameplay mechanic that everyone here seems to be neglecting: the sword rev

Just-Reving adds so much to the gameplay and makes it a lot more challanging and addictive. DMC4 is all about style. BTW, has anyone gotten an SSS on the style meter? I just managed to do it on the last fight in the docks :D

There seems to be a lot of negativity towards this game. I cant wait myself.

Just seen a review on Gamer tv here in the UK, it got 6 out of 10.

DMC was never exclusive. The past DMC games were on the PC.

umm no. DMC3 was only on PC, and flopped miserably

the devil may cry series was great exept for devil may cry 2 the only crappy part that has been there in the series. at least that is what they say for me its stil the only part i dind play, wel ok i also dind play 4 and the special edition of 3 anyway i think 4 is great for the rest i cant have an opinion of it right now bui can already tell you its great. And for the person who says there are rumors 4 aint good those people are just noobs and nolifers.

It will sell well I guess, because this game has the Japanese gamers also interested.

Played the demo with a massive grin on my face, unfortunately on the 360 so I wasn't liking the controls. RB to lock on? Come now, it's horrible.

I loved using Nero a lot too, still getting used to the Sword and it's properties but the arm is awesome. o:

Gonna play the game on PS3 ASAP. I want to use the controller I know will be best for DMC.

I was happy to see that the game play is more like the first Devil May Cry instead of the third one. The third one is the worst game in the series. I might actually have to pick it up now.

I own both a 360 and PS3 and I'll be picking it up on PS3. The game just plays and feels better on the PS3 for some reason in my opinion.

Thanks, I'll take my opinion and there's over some random guy on the internet. NG has a horrible camera too but that didn't affect much.

how so? you can go first person to look freely or just move around in third person.

from what i got from the dmc4 demo i hated how the camera was fixed in certain areas and there were limitations when you were able to move around your camera view.

i just played the demo.....i love it. That boss battle is nuts, i got my ass wooped first 2 times....going back now on 3rd try i should get him. Also, whoever calls this a typical hack and slash obviously has no idea how to string together the moves for insanely cool combos....your probably just spamming the Y button and complaining.

kevin kasavin thought it was slick with how you can move the camera in ngb while kevin vanord thought there were few minor issues in ngs.

Anyway the camera in both games are not that great [ NG is more fluid though ] although you can move it in both games. Its not much of a problem really.
