Well we all know its gonna happen around 2009. along with Halo Wars and Gears Of War 2.
so why bring it up? this is gonna get people to buy Vista. stop acking like MS is lossing exclsuives when they are allowing it. did Halo 1 on PC hurt the Xbox? no! MS just made a crap load of money on the game.
If Xbox actually did have exclusives and none of their titles were on the PC sales for the console would have been much higher.

pc gamers are gonna game on pc no matter if they can get xbox games or not. xbox to pc titles have no effect on xbox hardware sales. every single 360game could go to pc and MS would still sell 200,000 360's a month.

So by this logic PS3 is doomed as well? The PS3 is losing exclusives daily it seems like. I promise you as well someone willing to wait until 2009 for Gears of War to hit PC was never going to get a console in the first place. The war this time is all in favor of XBOX 360 and every cow knows it deep inside somewhere.

Agreed, but I would say that it just MIGHT be the reason...not completely sold that it will do them in. But yeah, it's hurting the Xbox brand and sales when there's a prevailing thought that "oh, this game will just end up on the PC eventually."

I don't think titles that go to the Xbox first (because Microsoft is paying for it to be that way), and then come to the PC are hurting Xbox 360 sales. It is hurting PC game sales. This not happening because there is something wrong with PC gaming, or that the Xbox is better than PC. It is happening for Microsofts purposes and is deliberately done so the Xbox library is larger. Not because the Xbox 360 is anything special. Because it is not.
If the opposite were true, if games were coming to the PC first and then the Xbox, then that would definately hurt Xbox 360 sales.
