I'm not scared at all. Played the beta and enjoyed it and from all accounts I've seen from reviewers early testing it the game is outstanding.
I think the secret sauce this time around is not only Halo being the premier franchise IP for the console in a make or break holiday season, but also they have something to prove as far as one upping Bungie and Destiny and making amends for the launch problems of the MCC.

I cant wait.

I think they might even have some surprises in store with Cortana considering shes confirmed in the game and is part of Windows 10.

Well the context is all there so I assume your problems understanding have to do with reading ability

If this was from the same developers that had the talent and were heavily supported by Microsoft because of that talent, Bungie, this Halo game would have been guaranteed no less than a 9. Sadly, Bungie isn't as talented anymore but what's more sad that this Halo game is not from the same developers and the new developers, 343, hasn't proven to me yet that they have the same talent or are talented and could make a GS AAA game for this gen. This is a new gen and don't let the Halo name fool you, this is a new game for the new developers 343 so chances are this will not get higher than an 8. And from what I played and seen so far didn't get me as hyped. So the hype for this is an 8. But 8 is still a great score especially when an 8 scored game have been GoTY here.

With all that's being done, the innovation, the larger focus on story and dialog, larger and more diverse game worlds with a stronger emphasis on choice and exploration plus the amazing idea's being put into the multiplayer....

Yeah I was thinking this too. CowSpot has been taking a giant dump on all things Xbox lately. Metacritic probably will show a masterpiece while this place scores a 8 from some freelance fly by night writer who blogs about cats.

It looks like about 70% are voting AAA (myself included) so who cares about a few people voting AA to save face if it doesn't attain a 9?

GS is notoriously anti competitive shooter though so I'll settle for the 9. Depends on who gets the review. Its got a chance since Van Ord, McShea and those carebears wont be reviewing it.

Until Dawn is not only a second tier level game from Sony studios, it's also a new IP with virtually no weight behind it and a lot of sony fans were still hyped enough to vote an 8. Halo is the biggest and oldest franchise xbox has. Halo is the, to end all games, title that xbox lives and dies by lol and I am seeing lems hype it no higher than a second tier, niche, new IP from Sony's lower studios?

As a matter of fact Everybody Gone to Rapture even scored 9.0! lol so I guess lems have coincided the fact that xbox has completely failed to deliver the best games this holiday season and didn't even come close to the quality of games that PS4 has had this year despite the usual xbox holiday blitz.

I'm going with a 9.

The multiplayer is simply fantastic. Even almost a year ago during the Beta I was having more fun than I'd had in years with any shooter. The skill cap for this game is the highest I've ever seen on a console shooter. The story will be solid and this new two fire team mechanic looks interesting during the campaign as well.

And a completely locked 60fps is fantastic considering the insane scale of some of the levels.
