Did this sneak up on anybody else? Remember how LONG it seemed it would take for May 3 to arrive, and yet HERE WE ARE!!!

Keep all your impressions in this thread. This exists because threads getting as large as the past official Reach thread tend to glitch. Now that the beta is here, lets keep all our comments rolling in THIS thread!

got to play a couple matches and all i can say is so far this is what halo 3 should have been. It feels like a next gen game where halo 3 didn't imo. While I don't think it competes with some titles this gen for best graphics it looks crisp clean and looks great. it will be cool to see how halo competes with COD for online numbers.

Console gaming is such a pain

got to play a couple matches and all i can say is so far this is what halo 3 should have been. It feels like a next gen game where halo 3 didn't imo. While I don't think it competes with some titles this gen for best graphics it looks crisp clean and looks great. it will be cool to see how halo competes with COD for online numbers.

My impression is that I'm stuck in work and have a bloomin' thing afterwards so no gamey gamey for me tonight. I am disappoint :( I will have to live vicariously through all of you ...blue_hazy_basic

Servers are down, aye? Hmm... Actually this is a good thing. Maybe the servers will be down until, say... 5:30pm tonight. Then Bungie will add another day to the beta to make up for the down-time, and I'll get to play even longer!!! :Dmusicalmac

It's virtually jag free compared to its predecessors. Scout and Airborne are awesome, sprint isn't that useful compared to the others. After 8-9 months of no Halo at all, I'm still the most dominant member of every team I've been in so far 8)

Bungie would have been a lot better off doing a staggered roll-out of this rather than just flipping a switch and letting the masses stampede into the game.Ninja-Hippo

got a few games in between server crashes. silky smooth gameplay and framerate. pistol is beast. DMR is beast. very little aim assist, feels fun and skillful. armor abilities are nice. like the maps. very good overall.

Gotta few matches in. It's funner and more intense than H3. New weapons are nice. New modes are fun. Wasn't liking Elite Team Slayer thoughCouth_

I LOVE that OMG. evade + needle rifle = total ownage

Downloaded it, went to matchmaking and server is unavailable. I'm devestated. :cry:
