Yeah, I guess i missed the difficulty setting too. hmmm. Anyway.......

I will say this about the Heavenly Sword demo. Though short, it was revealing. I personally think the cut-scene at the beginning was fairly poor. The shadows were crap. But when it came down to the actual gameplay part, it was indded very beautiful.

The fighting and combos were fun. It was challenging. All-in-all, it appears this might actually be a great game.

Nah. Unless it was in the options menu, there wasn't. Once you start the demo no difficulty options show up, it goes to the cinematic automatically...

turn the stupid sixaxis controls off and map the aerial to something else, its SOOOOO much easier.

Way to short for a 1 gig download.

However, I loved the gameplay and it made me want to play even more, which is the job of a demo. Though they could have made it 15 mins or something, not 5.

Omg, the Aerials, are pretty hard to do... -_-;

But, I never saw a frame rate drop. It was perfect. The draw distance is spectacular.

I played the demo like 5 times over because i wanted to see all the style moves.

Theres the cracking neck, the dual swords in the nuts and hook em with a chain and chuck them 100 feet. It was a feast for the eyes!

np ;) you'll find the game a bit easier when you disable it, i dunno why the sixaxis is so unresponsive for it - they should have set the thresholds a bit lower i think.

It isn't really like NG.

I'd say PoP and GoW. Which isn't a bad thing either. It's on more of the cartoony and stylish side it seems.

What do you consider original? most games take something from a succesful genre. NGS and GOW are two AAA games; I'm happy to have any dev make a new IP with influences from those two games.

BTW GEAUXXX SAINTS. This is the year.
