Wii had a huge increase but they had supply problems last holiday. 
360 had a around 80k increase and the PS3 had around 70K decrease.

they dont play sales............yet their entire history as a fanboy was all about praising PS1 and PS2 for its sales. They even played sales until september 2008. Wonder what made them stop :lol:

A great way to start of the new year for the Wii and 360, nice hardware and software numbers as usual. Also people keep on saying the PS3 needs a price drop, but what would they need it for, to outsell the 360 in a few months? Because even if the PS3 drop the price and it outsells the 360 in whatever months, they can easily drop the price of the 360 and it would cover the numbers in months. That's what it did last year.

I don't care if the PS3 will always be last place with hardware and software this entire gen. I just want them to sell enough to keep their 10 year life cycle promise so they can continue giving us exclusives with great graphics.

Technically the 360 edged out PS3 in 08 by 40 000 or something liek that.

Even if it is a technical "tie"..........PS3 outsold 360 by 1.5 million in 2007, suggesting a decrease in PS3 momentum.

Looks like you were right. LOTR:C is actually a 360 game. Man I hate acting like a fanboy but:

Hm, strange, some sties are saying LoTR is for 360 while others are saying it's for PS3.

NPD said they made a mistake though it could be only calling MKDS a 360 game though LoTR could be another mistake.

Unconfirmed at this point.

Edit: NPD confirms, it's the 360 version.
