Did anyone just see X-play's first part of their joke review? They were like, "PS3 finally have a reason to be excited" O_o Ya ok.... And another thing, the whole time they were reviewing the campaign, they had a sarcastic, smart-ass tone like they didn't even care about talking about the game... We'll see what they say about MP in a few minutes, and the total score...I have a feeling they'll give it a 4/5... :?_Brennan_
Why would they say finally a reason to be excited? They were the ones that made a whole episode covering MGS 4 and gave it a 5/5.

I don't know... :?[QUOTE="nervmeister"]5/5 from X-play (feel better now, Brennan?)_Brennan_NoWhy not? They gave it a perfect score.
LittleBIGPlanet was the reason to own the PS3, imo. KZ2 is just extra icing on the cake. It shall be a sweet experience, indeed.BioShockOwnz
LOL no it was MGS 4 just my $0.02 though.
[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"][QUOTE="cuddlesofwar"] Played the Beta. Nothing is that amazing. It's all very good, but not amazing.cuddlesofwarIt wouldnt be "silly" to call this game spectacular, and if it's getting 9's across the board for the most part I wouldnt say calling "spectacular" would be a stretch.
Visuals aside, what is spectacular about it? Do explain.
Spectacular - Of the nature of a spectacle; impressive or sensational. So there is nothing impressive or sensational about KZ2? Maybe if we were debating "unique" or "innovative" or something, I could understand what you're saying. But usually games that are AAA are deserving of the word "spectacular" in my opinion.[QUOTE="cuddlesofwar"][QUOTE="_Brennan_"]It shouldn't matter if they care or not...._Brennan_Then why are you making a big deal of it?I'm not making a big deal out of it. Stating that they're review sounded sarcastic is making a big deal out of it? I'm not mad about it, but for some reason, you think I am... Sure. Whatever makes you feel better. :)
Done! Pre-ordering soon for sure, just as soon as I can get to a Gamestop.NYrockinlegendYea, I pre-ordered off Amazon... sometimes they ship early.

People just lack creativity these days; this game allowed you to express your CREATIVITY! You could make the levels whatever you want, practically(just as long as they're 2-D and can be made within the game's specs)! That and MGS4 are the greatest games of the PS3 for me. Of course, Resistance and Socom add to the package. Killzone 2 will revolutionize FPS gaming, though, so that's a major plus for shooter fans of the PS3 and those still pondering whether to get one. But the best thing for me right now would be a Jak game on PS3 that was a AAA title. I just really loved that series, I'd LOVE to see it in HD graphics with the Uncharted engine!

Even beyond the visuals, the gameplay in the beta was very superb. The combination of the class system and the clan system make the game extremely addictive... coupled with its new signature style on realism, the multiplayer actually did seem pretty amazing. The single player looks like it's going to be amazing as well... the mech suit, lightning gun, and ship turrets pumped my hype meter big time... it's really going to be like playing through a vintage sci-fi flick... SWEEEET.Lol another overrated shooter. *Yawns*
Wake me up when it scores lower than 9 or a 10 so I can see the hilarity ensue. :D
Kotaku just put up their single player campaign impressions. Brian Crescente said it was just under 8 hours. It's good to see Blu-ray being put to use.BioShockOwnz
blu ray isnt needed:)

The comment about it being a spectacular game was from another guy claiming that it's dissapointing that undeserving games like Halo, get scored high when spectacular games like Killzone don't. Aside from the visuals, what is spectacular about this game. Actually answer the question instead of hiding your ignorance with sarcasm.

[QUOTE="nervmeister"][QUOTE="_Brennan_"]No_Brennan_Why not? They gave it a perfect score.I'm joking. You don't realize that? Yes it's cool. Anytime a game you want gets good scores, that's good...Oh, my mistake. LOL.

[QUOTE="rockguy92"]No! Now we won't beat the MGS4 thread in posts. :cry:glez13
How many posts it got?
like 10,000 posts, the first KZ2 sticky was like half way.IMHO the PS3 is owning the competition in terms of quality exclusive games.....
There is nothing exclusive on the other consoles that comes close to these games in terms of quality:
Metal Gear Solid 4 (goes down in history as one of the best games ever made)
Little Big Planet (Most innovative platformer to date)
Motorstorm 2 (Best off-road racer to date)
Resistance 2 (best online multiplayer on consoles)
KILLZONE 2..... (Best FPS of all time on consoles)
The only 360 exclusive games are that are worth mentioning are
Gears of War 2 (best 3rd person shooter on consoles to date)
Halo 3 (best selling FPS )
Fable 2

That doesn't answer your question? :? I mean, you can't read any of the reviews that are out? Is it too much trouble? And you say reading comprehension isn't my strong-suit? So personally, you don't know? Yet feel the need to disagree. Ignorance is truly bliss ...
As with the majority of GT reviews, I liked this one. I've thought of KZ2 as a more realistic and therefor harder game, so the fact that it is actually draws me to it more than it probably would otherwise.
This will still be one of the first games I get whenever I finally get my PS3. It should be a lot of fun.
[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"][QUOTE="glez13"]like 10,000 posts, the first KZ2 sticky was like half way. It only got 7768.Wow unless there were like 1,000 posts in a few hours after 2:30pm CT (The last time I saw the thread), it was only near 6,000 posts (Something like 5,800)How many posts it got?
