Did you really think that game was going to sell on PS3? Wjrpg don't sell on PS systems. 

You know your a fanboy when you actually care about sales numbers, when the difference is just a mere 50,000 a month, and if this continues to occure the sales difference will only be 2.4 million between each console. But if you can compare the sales numbers between all of them, I did find odd that the only console that increased sales was the gba, psp, ds and ps3.

DS - 485,000
Wii - 335,000
PS2 - 295,000
360 - 228,000
PSP - 176,000
GBA - 136,000
PS3 - 127,000
NGC - 24,000

Xbox 360, went down 30,000, wii went down 80,000, and ps2 went down 15 thousand.

Wait, how are Sony fans trying to spin this around and say Wii and Xbox 360 sales look sluggish?  It's April, right before the slowest selling point each year.

The PS3 hasn't even been out for six months and it cant even move more than 200K consoles in a Month.

Sony might have actually been able to skip this gen and stuck with the PS2 until the next consoles came out at this rate. Im sure the PS3 sales will pick up once more games/price drops though.

The PS2 is an unstoppable monster. 

Really, the next-generation has hardly phased it. Its still got quite a lot of high quality titles coming out as well!

I feel it for Bestheda. The Made a great product. (I am not even an RPG fan) but looking at those Gametrails videos that Game was worth collecting. SOny you better give 2K something for that

*hit like that is what scares devs away from the PS3.  Bethesda worked on that game for what?  a year?  maybe more?  that's a lot of dev costs.  when stuff like this happens, I'm sure they'll think twice the next time they want to make a PS3 game.

I feel it for Bestheda. The Made a great product. (I am not even an RPG fan) but looking at those Gametrails videos that Game was worth collecting. SOny you better give 2K something for that

They are lessing less and less wii's every so often yet they always boast this sold out line.

Ok use your brain.....First of all notice the weird sales pattern?  Its because its based of shipments.  Secondly you cant find the Wii online on ANY online store in the US or Japan.   Thirdly weve seen reports that its still sold out.

Look at the software sales also for 360. That always a good sign for developers thinking of making a game for a console. They know it will have a better chance of selling well.Eltroz

Yep, this is very important. The 360 has had a very good attach-rate (number of games sold at the same time people buy the console) from day 1. And from these numbers it is quite evident that 360-users buy a lot of games. In the end this is what matters for a developer when they choose platform.

Nintendo has stated that they are at 100% production.  If the numbers of Wiis sold is inconsistant, that's most likely because they keep shipping Wiis to other markets. 

People already said that Nintendo has been holding back units to create an artifical "sold out" status, but give me a break.  They are selling more than the 360 and PS3.  Artifical or not Wii sales are out right dominating and continue to dominate the other systems.
