@AdamK47: Very nice!
@AdamK47: That is a nice setup. I can't get away with such speakers in my condo due to noise, even though we're divided by concrete.
How are you finding OLED for PC? I was worried about burn-in, so I went with a Samsung Q8FN... Didn't feel like replacing an expensive TV due to using my PC.
@lundy86_4: I don't use it for any work related projects. My work laptop is for that. The OLED is mainly used for movies/shows, gaming, and light web browsing. Mostly gaming. I use it in PC mode which has fairly aggressive protection (auto dimming) when static content is shown for a period of time. There's also plenty of headway build into each pixel so that the compensation cycles can keep the pixel brightness across the display uniform. There's no burn in. My previous LG C8 65" also shows no burn in.
I just joined the 64GB of RAM club! (switched to Corsair)
Nice.
Video editing, or just want the extra leg room for multitasking?
I had 24gb in 2010, which seemed like a lot but eventually became a real bottleneck for me. Got on the 64gb bandwagon in 2016 tho, and yeah it's great lol. Almost went full stupid with 128gb just because, but glad I didn't. Pretty rare for me to push the 64gb as is.
Why 64GB? You have some production tasks that benefit from this? I am still rocking 16GB with no issues.

Just because. It was around $300 which seemed like a good deal and after building PC's for others using the Corsair sticks, I wanted to make the switch. It was just the perfect storm for an upgrade.
@goldenelementxl:
Nice, I plan on getting 32GB 3600 CL14 RAM when the RTX 3090 comes out along with a Samsung 970 Evo 2TB NVME... Can't wait.
EDIT:
Based on the review of the A2000 and the price I had to get it... I doubt games will need more performance than that even with the whole PS5 neveme talk.
@dxmcat: I love that setup. The more screens, the better!
I am way too easily distracted... My head would all over the place if I had that setup. That said one day I might try it.
Nice.

That's a lot of Chrome tabs dude. Like.... 6. Wow.

well the 2 on the far sides are seperate systems :P, but using the 4 in front of me is no problem, specially leaned back a lil.
@goldenelementxl:
Damn, very nice. Most dudes I know with arcade setups just have them in grungy ass garage lol.
@ConanTheStoner: lol, yeah I also know some folks that have their arcade stuff in the garage. Luckily my wife lets me use my stuff in the house.
@Chutebox: I’m on it!
Demolition Man is one of my favorite movies of all time. That being said, I’m not sure it’s my favorite poster. The Running Man poster I have is great, as is my other personal favorite, Over The Top. They Live is another favorite of mine. Of all the thought that went into this house when we were building it new in 2015, I think the most thought I put in any of it was in the poster selection. There were many sleepless nights...
@magnum3000: What TV is that? The black levels and contrast look great!
Samsung LED 44'' :)
Second part of my bedroom set up (sorry for the TV glare, best I could get it on my camera phone):
Vizio 42" LCD HD TV (I bought this at a thrift store as a gift for my folks, they gave it back as soon as they updated, it's lasted us a good few years too).
Top shelf (front of TV): Blu-Ray Player (a cheap Sanyo BR Player with no online connectivity, but that's okay), Nintendo Switch (shown on screen)
Middle shelf: Nintendo Wii U, NES Classic, SNES Classic, Sega Genesis Mini (a more recent pick up)
Reposting my desk area too. Again, nothing special, just something I put my laptop on.
Will post more when I get the chance.
I don't know why I have this very bad habit to take photos at dusk in room that is facing east, but I just got fed up by the "PC hunchback" stereotype and people telling me how I'm supposedly begging for the console exclusives... 🙄
@WESTBLADE85: NGL, that's one sturdy ass TV stand :P Nice TV. Q9?
Too bad you don't remember me, we talked about that 65" Q90R HERE (scroll down a bit on that page) + in that topic I did predict future😋.
Just re-arranged the stuff around a bit since then - gonna buy a new case for my new build, which definitely wouldn't fit under that TV...😅
/EDIT: Messed up the link for that pc case...😑

Oh yeah, I remember now. I'd say too many people on this board, but it's dead now lol.
That's a nice case. My only thing with dark cases, is that I hate seeing dust. Drives me nuts!

Dust? Holy sh..., don't even remind me of that...
I have to literally every single morning swipe a layer of dust off my PC, TV, sub, side and rear speakers... well, basically all the dark stuff in that room. That's not because I would have an OCD, but my living room is literally a dust magnet/hive, while the other rooms in my apartment are basically dust free...
TL;DR: Wish they also made that case I chose for my next build in white...😓
/EDIT: Just noticed I sent wrong link before, here's the CORRECT PC CASE

Dude, I have a swiffer just by my entertainment area that I use daily. Mine doesn't get that dusty, but even a light layer drives me up the wall. Unlike you, I may have mild OCD with that lol.
As for the case, it's freaking huge. It's a sexy mf'er though.
I've replaced my dining table with a computer desk, which makes my room significantly less cramped.
I also put my speaker grills back on. Still can't tell if I can tell a difference with them off and on.
I read that surrounds are supposed to be above ear level, so I've put them on my AV receiver box and old PC case. If I could go back, I would have gotten bookshelf speakers and mounting equipment for surrounds. These were front speakers for a few days in the beginning.
Also, I've completely filled the cabinet I bought, I think, early last year. I now have to put movies on top of and in front of each other. So, time to build a NAS soon and copy everything so that I can access it that way. My soft collection is much bigger. Planning to get the Synology DS1819+ and several WD Red 12 TB hard drives. That will be the most expensive entertaining purchase of my life. :(
@goldenelementxl:
2. I'm comfortable with the dining chair, though. Also takes up slightly less room.
3. Boogers.

Your room has so much highend tech in it. Nothing would tie it all together like a gaming chair. And maybe some LED lights all over the place...

Lol, the only LEDs I need are plain white, glued to the back of my TV.
Speaking of which, I've been thinking about getting a bias light for my main monitor as well. Right now I've got an LED table lamp behind it. Problem is my MX27AQ doesn't have a USB connection like my TV.
Bravias are also annoying with that. I always have to pull the USB cable a bit from the TV to keep the bias light from coming on every few minutes while the TV is turned off in standby. I could get a remote/switch for the bias light, but they're like fifteen dollars.
PC desk and monitor/speakers have been sold and I am 100% a HTPC user now... Took a while to commit but once you go OLED you can't go back.
Will be getting a lap-keyboard/mouse thing for FPS games.

After:
Just need a PS5 and I am all set for every game on any platform in the game room.
@nintendoboy16: Like it, it's unpretentious.
I'm late, but thanks. Like I said, nothing special compared to what I see here. But it functions. Someday, I'll post the rest of it as I have a set up for my retro consoles in that same room (my XBOX ONE however is set up in the living room and folks use it for Netflix and the like, though Dad is playing Fallen Order, which I just beat).
upgrade.......now at 9500ft elevation.
What are all those devices on the glass cabinet? The third and fourth look the same.
