Started Yakuza 5 Remaster recently from The Yakuza Collection (Steam)

No idea how to post pics here, unless i take a photo with my mobile and download the pics onto my laptop lol.

I am playing FFVII and I am too annoyed by the story, the characters and the dialogue to post images. 😋

Damn, just noticed this.

I read the reasoning in the old thread, but think it'll have the opposite effect. Stickies are usually forgotten and rarely pull in new contributors. Just fade into the background.

Probably best to just leave it a floating thread. Not like it'll really get lost, as evidenced by the previous one lol.

Anyways, just a screenshot thread. Maybe see how it does as a sticky, free it if it stagnates.

@ConanTheStoner: agreed. Stickies usually die sad quiet deaths. But no harm in letting this experiment go a bit. We can always cut it loose to float

I'm with Xantu, let's treat it as an experiment.

But yeah after a couple of weeks or so if it's doing worse than before then definitely un-sticky.

No offence to anyone but ever since TC left GS and the previous thread was getting old, anyone without an avi just makes me think its a nobody so yeah, it needed to go but I would have been fine with the old thread if TC didn't leave and kept his avi.

@davillain-: I know avatars are purely cosmetics but I'm of the same opinion as you tbh.

@xantufrog: How is that SW game? The first-person view kinda turned me off, I was hoping for something like Rogue Squadron on N64.

@lebanese_boy: I've only played it a little, but I like it a lot. Being in the cockpit is a must - especially in VR. I was ridiculously happy when I first took off

@xantufrog: VR? Recommend Until You Fall. It has best melee seen. Uses old ideas as well, stuff from light-gun era games.

But yea, Squadron is a game wouldn't want to play in anything but VR. It's implementation isn't even that deep, but it makes a huge difference to the experience.

@xantufrog: @uninspiredcup: If you don't mind me asking, do you use HOTAS while playing Squadron in VR? In my gaming life, I have never use an HOTAS before, just looking for any tips what's the best HOTAS. Just looking to expand my gaming PC in the near future.

@davillain-: I haven't tried - I am not sure if I can or not. I only have an old MS Sidewinder (compatible with my old games like X-Wing in DOS), and I'm not sure it has enough buttons for Squadrons. But I do miss it - playing with the XBox controller feels wrong

*edit* yeah, I just googled - I think it would be a giant PITA trying to deal with missing buttons. I got MS FS to work well with my Sidewinder, but I can see the keyboard for a few supplemental things. Can't do that in VR...

@davillain-: Use a fairly cheap Black Widow. Had it for about 6-7 years now.

I've been playing a bit of Satisfactory of late. Trying to make my first big factory.

And I found some big ass cat in AC Valhalla. And the White Cliffs of Dover.

Playing some more SW: Squadrons in VR, and replaying Halflife 2 in prep for playing through Alyx sometime soon

It's amazing how HL2 still looks decent today.

Started up a new CP2077 run... Went with the corpo start, and i'm running 1440, with DLSS and with max settings/RT. Just grabbed a few screens as i'm not out into Night City yet.

@lundy86_4: I was watching blade runner this morning and it really made me want to start another run. I'll Wait though - I'm drowning in other games at the moment. But it will be great to go back to night city in a year or something when that flood abates

Waiting is a solid move, because it's CyberPunk. Still, really enjoying getting back into the game. Still, the game needs heavy optimization work.

I'm also waiting, more like probably next year (to actually get the game).

Behold, my incredibly inefficient space factory.

It really is a looker, but just a shame other things detract from the atmosphere... Like cars that pop-in or even pedestrians. It's getting better now, so waiting a bit will be worth it in the long run.

Early access, but doesn't feel like it at all. Only glaring issue I've come across so far is some poor translation.

Looks interesting. I will probably grab when it is finally released.

Fallout 4 VR. Modded to hell and back. And I do mean hell and back.

Been playing some E.Y.E,it's one of those games that I like to go back to once in a while.

Crash 4, 4K, N.Sane graphics mode. I'm glad they did a PC version after all

Fire Emblem Three Houses (taken a few days ago):

Indivisible on PC in 1440p. (I personally like this art style and reminds me of Avatar: The Last Airbender/Korra in a way)

The next game is Narita Boy on PC in 1440p: (Love the 80s vibe, but it needs Blue Monday in it.

Indivisible a good looking game but the gameplay did not hold me.
